- Convert Audio Output from the Audio Control Module (ACM) from either Sony Mode / High Level Out to a Low Line Level Out to allow for better sound quality with aftermarket amplifiers driving speakers and subs.

Is this one confirmed? Didn't see it on the spreadsheet.

That part was copy/pasted from another guide on another forum for another car...

I've been researching and all I've found so far is this; http://www.fordescape.org/forum/electronics-audio-lighting/55554-reprogram-acm-output.html
all we have confirmed are the 3 settings for now. I'll be getting the adapter soon to start trying more. AngelDeath is the only guy who can confirm them for us currently. Oh and that Scary Larry guy. He might be able to confirm as well.

I already tried the Global close code, it does not work on our cars, as I said either the bit is wrong, or the hardware is not there.

Still havent had a chance to test the Digital Speedometer yet, plus looking at a couple of places for the fog/signal light, just havent had a chance to look yet.

If you search on you tube for ForScan, there are a few videos on how to use the app and what it can do.

I posted the link to the fusion global open/close on the first or second page, though I'm not sure it would apply for s550. I don't see why it WOULDN'T work.

My s550 as-built shows:

0726-17-01 0000 0000 0045
and
0726-17-02 0101 0101 014B

so... if the 17-02 is global remote open on the mustang, then, theoretically, it may work to change 17-01 to what you specified.

something like:
0726-17-01 0000 0000 0045 - remote close disabled
0726-17-01 0101 0101 014A - remote close enabled
Is it possible that the four sets of "01" match up to the four windows in the Fusion? Thus for ours to work it may be 0726-17-01 0101 0000 or 0726-17-01 0000 0101 (and the appropriate checksum of course).

Anyone know of a working VCMII Clone? I can get my hands on the IDS but not the VCMII.

It is actually for each programmed keyfob... up to 4 PTS keyfobs supported and the last bit is the main enable/disable

0101 0101 01xx
^1^2 ^3^4 ^enabled/disabled (this is what the IPC changes when you make an enabled/disabled selection)

So like keyfob 1 and 2 can be enabled and 3 and 4 could be disabled per say... probably for the mykey feature or whatever reason ford would add it this way.
or in the case of DRL's... user 1 has DRL's on and user 2-4 has them disabled... etc...

Tried changing each 0 to a 1, no option appeared for Digital Speedometer.

Well I sorta have good news, DanMc brought something up in our discussion about the fog/signal light and comparing as-built codes, so that led me to look up some you tube videos to see how the EU version works, and even though some of the setup is different, I found one video that shows that the EU version doesnt shut off the fog lights when signaling!

Now mind you there fog lights are different then ours and how there turn signal setup is a bit different, but at least it gives hope it can be found.

If your interested here is the video: [ame=""]

If you want skip to 11:30 mark to see, In the video he has the hazzards on, which I just went to mine and even with the hazzards the fogs shut off in the US version.

So Dan gave me a section to compare between the EU and US version, If I find anything, I'll let you guys know.

Is anyone that knows how these changes can be done by using VCM II with IDS software?

larry, so you changed '0726-41-02 0001 0000 0071' to '0726-41-02 0000 0001 0071' and that worked? Want to keep spreadsheet correct. Perhaps it is just that bit value of 1 on the 4th byte that changes the double honk.

This is correct. just moved the last 1 from the first set to the second

Just to clarify, does your car have "One Touch Up" window switches?

perhaps there is also something in the IPC along with a BCM change (like some of the fusion changes I have seen).

edit: d'oh. 720 IS the IPC, oops. ignore.

my 2015 s550 does not have the 720-07-01 memory block, so you're probably right :(
