Hey, new here,

Was looking at the spreadsheet and saw the soft climate buttons

07D0-01-01 xxxx xxxx x0xx for the touchscreen disabled

in my car its 07D0-01-01 6A2A 0503 20

i check a couple over VINs from the internet and found one that is 07D0-01-01 6A2A 0502 20

Im not with my car at the moment and wont be with it til June next year since im working overseas, but i believe i have the buttons on my touchscreen, would the 0503 be to enable the touchscreen and 0502 to disable?

Has anyone seen anything relating to speed/MPH for convertible top operation? I'd love to be able to operate the mechanism at 5-8MPH vs. none, it's super handy when you're rolling up to a redliight to be able to start it moving.

In my S2K, there was two safety mechanisms, 1) speed and 2) e-brake set, and 1 was easily bypassed with a little wiring change, so then you could just engage the brake up a couple of ticks and raise/lower.

Verts get a DIC message, so I thought the logic might be available module config/BCM data.

Suggestion for a change to the spreadsheet... The MyColor enabling values appear to be incorrect for the Mustang. The As Built data line should read like this according to a premium As Built... I have not tested the enabling values yet but I will be tonight and reporting back.

7B7-01-1 as 0042 0000 02

There is a missing 4 digit in the spreadsheet which causes the write to fail. Likewise the disabling value should read like this according to my car's As Built.

7B7-01-1 as 0000 0000 C0

I am going to attempt to program this tonight...

7B7-01-1 as 0040 0000 00

This was pulled form the 50th LE forum. The 50th LE's do not have lighted sill plates so this code should be closer to what a base owner would need (assuming no other hardware is required) to activate MyColor in the gauges.

your car: xxxx xxxx x0xx according to what you posted. are you saying that your touchscreen climate buttons are not disabled?

the '0503' is not the part you change. you would change that 0 to a 2 to get soft buttons for seat heating/cooling.

what's your VIN?

Well technically it does work! Provided you have an LE with the 4 digit already in place. :p

Will report back with my results in the next few hrs.

So that's a no go on any of the lines... It looks as though Ford locked out this functionality from the base model BCMB or lighting control module.... So MyColor on a base model will require at least a new lighting module which is $75 from Ford.

Just a curiosity question - when police dark mode is enabled are the mirror pony lights disabled too?

Exactly, who's to say our GT's aren't doing this to some small extent as well?
They are, my 2016 had a sound tube going into the cab which i removed.

I know about that and I've removed mine also, I'm referring to the electronic enhancement (or noise cancellation) through the speakers.

the 0502 and 0503 part, no idea. I'd leave it alone, or try changing it and see what happens.

Is there a way in the As Built to prevent the car from changing the user chosen My Color over to white during daylight? I've read threads on here where users say the center sensor on the top of the dash is what causes the color event changes depending on dusk/daylight/dark.

Can the As Built be modified so that the My Color illumination remains the same color regardless if it's light or dark outside?

Or if the engine is running or not. They change to white even at night before or after the engine is running.
