So, for what with worth, I went out today for the 4th time this week, but the first time in full sun. Hey, there IS a Ford logo there. But, damn, it's hard to see.

Now admit it. Don't you feel like an idiot for looking over and over until you finally saw it? I know I did.So, for what with worth, I went out today for the 4th time this week, but the first time in full sun. Hey, there IS a Ford logo there. But, damn, it's hard to see.

Pretty much. I mean, I haven''t seen the freaking thing in a year of owning the car, so I'm not sure what the point of it is.Now admit it. Don't you feel like an idiot for looking over and over until you finally saw it? I know I did.![]()

Who did your replacements?I have had my windshield replaced a couple of times, still have the logo, so that's good I guess, lol![]()
that had to suck, you buy a new car and it’s already damaged before delivery. One thing I have noticed is all these new cars have flaws.Mine has the logo as well as the safe & smart. When I took delivery in April of last year the dealer had to replace the windshield with an OEM glass because the glass had a crack in it. Delayed delivery by a week because it had to be a Ford glass.
to each is own, not sure what I’d do... however is it seems like people are paying for these windshields out of pocket... better option than insurance?Correct, Safelight does not make the Mustang glass, the manufacturer they use for aftermarket is FUYAO. I had a discussion with Safelite about it when I had my windshield replaced.
My statement is correct, FUYAO is Safelite aftermarket glass but not exclusive I imagine.
In other words, when you go to Safelite and they ask if you want the Ford logo for an extra 100, and you say no, you get FUYAO glass.

Fuyao Glass Industry Group Co., Ltd. It is one of the largest auto glass producers in the world
I would also.We are both right. I may have misunderstood you post.
Safelite replacement glass is made by FUYAO. In addition to making glass for Safelite they are also factory OEM manufacturers for other car companies.
By the way if it is only $100.00 I'd go factory everyday.
damn that’s an expensive glass bill. You can wipe your arse with 100 dollar bills until your anus resembles Ben Fanklin, it makes no difference to me.
The OEM glass chipped and cracked within minutes while driving down the highway. I decided to go with aftermarket primarily because it was a different manufacturer, saving 100 dollars was a bonus. If this glass is going to crack after a chip, things will get exensive. I found similar threads of cracks appearing in front of your eyes.

When I asked about the aftermarket windshield they explained that they use FUYAO glass, hence the reason I know that FUYAO is the aftermarket glass used by Safelite.
Literally the next day after windowshield replacement my wife took the car to work and called me from the office, there was a chip in the new windshield above line of sight. I was able to get the car back to safelite in the next couple of days for a chip repair.

I have all the options on my 5.0 and I still have the Ford logo

I like the logo in that spot, looks good. Not sure if I prefer mine, or your more prominent version.I’m not sure when Ford changed the badge on the screen but mine is more prominent than the pre facelifts I have seen :

That’s a 2020 RHD U.K. car.
