Have tried to check it out, but can't keep everything consistent to find out.

The mode that keeps cruising RPM the lowest while traveling between 55-60mph on flat ground will net the highest MPG average………

I don't believe modes matter with the Tremec or MT-82, it's more of a result of sustained rpm. I can't speak to the A10.

My 23 M1 at almost 1700 miles is reporting 20.7 mpg with just under 30 days of ownership and mixed driving.

After doing many tests with changing gears in a A6 I can say the best gas mileage is when you shift early. I get the best gas mileage when I set the tranny to shift at 1700 RPM for each gear. It sucks for power.

The car likes to shift around 2500 RPM but that kills 3 to 5 MPG.

My impression is that in Sport+ with Tremec the car is more eager on throttle (more than I would like) and also the actual mileage is higher when accelerating. But this is just an observation and feeling than a scientific result.

Anecdotally, I think that my 23 Mach w/Tremec, @ 2700 miles driven (in 30 days), mostly on road trips, gets a little better mileage (1-2 mpg HWY) in Sport+ vs Normal, but I haven’t logged any data. Haven’t burnt a full tank on the highway in Track mode yet.

My ‘23 A10 Mach is averaging around 20-21 while my ‘23 Tremec Mach is about 3-4 mpg less. Not too hard to figure out why! Like others, I don’t flog them but by no means do I baby them either.

The obvious truth is that if fuel mileage is even a random consideration a V-8 Mustang might not be the best choice. But you already knew that.

The only reason I ask, is that hopefully my Wife and I are able to take a 2,000+ mile round trip before summer is over. I traded a '17 Stingray off for my Mach 1. One very good thing about it was unless you put your foot down, it got 30mpg interstate miles because it was running on only 4 cylinders. :D

This has been already discussed several times and my conclusion from the other discussions was that there is a big difference between A10 and Tremec. A10 will keep you in the most efficient band as long as you do not push it and you can get relatively good MPG just by "cruising normally".

On Tremec though, you can get close (at least I can) to better MPG only when deliberately keeping the RPM low (<2k). As long as I start enjoying 4k+ the consumption shoots up.

For that reason, getting peoples' readings without getting the type of gearbox they are driving is basically useless. It is not apple to apple comparison.

I have a Tremec and the best MPG (US) I got was 18.7 which was while cruising on the highway mostly in the 6th at 80-100 mph. My "regular" MPG (which might be half highway, half city) is 15-16. These values are however calculated by me from the fuel consumption and travelled distance. I do not really use onboard computer (except for the actual consumption). The onboard computer readings may differ as well.

Plus as I mentioned earlier, when looking at the actual consumption, when driving, in Sport+ it goes off the scale easily when pushing it, while in Comfort it looks like there is a soft limit. So driving aggressively in Sport+ should consume more.

So, which gearbox do you have and how do you drive?

I don’t know what year is yours, but mine is 2022 and the car drives better without the carbon filter.

I did a road-trip from Central FL to Charlotte, for the track attack, to Raleigh, back to central FL in 6 days.

Here are some pictures from my fuel numbers from those data. Last day I was tired so I went a bit faster.

After arriving in C FL and filled the tank. This was the long day, this is from Raleigh to Central FL.

Mine is a A10, non handling, stock (with the carbon filter during that road trip).

Who worries about MPG? If that's the goal, sell the car, a Prius might be a better fit  :cwl:
You should read all the posts before making comments. Btw, If I wasn't concerned about the mpg and any possible money savings, I wouldn't have been able to pay cash for new cars.

Mine is the exact same as yours. What mode were you in ?
