My Torsen has a temp sensor right by the drain plug. If it's not there, it's not going to have one.

Thanks. That must be what the tapped hole is on mine, just about an inch away from the drain plug. It's and empty but threaded hole. Clearly not drilled through

only the PP1/PP2 cars have the diff temp sensor. And i think only automatic cars have the transmission temp reading in the cluster. my car is a 2018 GT Premium non PP and doesn't have any oil/diff or transmission temp readings.

Yup.
My first HPDE car wasn't particularly slow, but it was definitely slower than most others out there.
Taurus SHO with suspension and minor engine mods; maybe 240 hp and 3200 lbs. It was a tremendously entertaining car to learn track manners in.
It used to embarrass mid level Porsches and many M3s (e30). Very funny story...
People used to freak out when a Taurus was behind them. They thought they were doing something wrong and would over drive their cars. Over and over again, if I caught an M3 or Porsche, about 3 or 4 corners later, they would inevitably spin. I could see their line deteriorating and I'd hold back waiting for the inevitable. Sure enough, they'd spin and I'd have to quickly ascertain if they'd go to the inside or outside, so that I could get past safely.
The Taurus was the only car I ever experienced that scenario in.
