I will be ordering a race spec MGW for my S550. May I ask what shifter ball did you get? I saw their rubber coated ones online and they look comfy but I never held one. Also, is R to the lower right or upper right?

Thanks!

I had the weighed ball on mine. When I switched transmissions I had to get another and did not get the weighted ball. I miss it ...felt much more solid. Reverse is where its at now.

I had the stock S550 ball on mine with their stock ball adapter. I since changed it to the GT350 knob (the CJPP one with the S550 threads) and it worked with the same stock know adapter. Looks and works much better, IMO.

White cueball with black shift pattern - it's great, does not get hot or cold, feels real nice, lettering doesn't fade or wear - two years in, drive it every day...haven't tried a gripper, tempted, but the white looks too nice. Cueball style can slip out of your hand though, as it is on the slick side.

I went with the gripper ball. Love the texture and the insert can be changed for cosmetics and feel. Lots of options!

I have one of the new grippers . I'm not sure what material it is made out of. Perhaps textured delrin? I love that it does not get hot in this west Texas sun, just slightly warm. I wish I knew about the weighted grippers. That would be the one to get. The light weight of the one I have is its only downside.

White cue ball with black shift pattern and Ford Racing logo engraved. Ordered it from Epco.
Shift pattern is 6RUL - Left up reverse.

you can JUST buy the stem for your gripepr to make it weighted . you dont have to buy a whole knob. thats the joy of the modular design we have!!

Anarchy Motive Titan. Best shifter profile for road course duty IMHO ... can't miss it while dealing with 50 other things at once. Love it.

To each his own, but I really like the look and feel of the GT350 ball from CJPP.
