I really want to get this as well, but I'm not really looking to pay someone to install it for me. This is my DD car, so I can only be without it for a day or two at most. Is it easy to install for a newbie to wrenching?
I found it pretty involved and would recommend getting a knowledgeable shop to do it and i HIGHLY doubt you will regret the money spent. Hands down one of my favorite mods and imo one of the first mods that should be done.

Agree with all these comments. One thing that hasn't been mentioned is the beauty of the piece. Almost a shame to hide it away under the car. As soon as you open the box you can tell this it is one of those rare products that was designed for a sole purpose and no expense was spared. The engineering George and the team have put in is seriously impressive.

You all convince me. I'm in. Ordering shortly.

Jeez this is the best forum I have been on. Knowledgable owners, vendor support. Really nice.

For those that had shops install theirs, what should I be expecting to spend on that?

I'd get one, but call me an odd ball, I really like the stock reverse lockout. Got one of their shifters on my T5 in my '66 and it is a work of art.
