Does anyone recall what and when last year's memorial day incentives were? I am getting ready to pull the trigger on a base GT w/pp and will likely be making the trip up to Koons. They currently have the options/color I want in stock, so I am just deciding if it is worth waiting a few weeks. Thanks.

Memorial Day Event.

I am looking for a GT not sure base or Premium. I talked to 3 dealers and all of them agreed that may be cheaper if I wait for the least the last week of May.
Take this with

It is the first week of May...

On a side note, the last dealer I talked to said near the end of a month is the best time to get a good deal. Now I'm wondering if I should wait a couple more weeks or jump on what looks like a good deal now?

Im in the same boat. I want to get it NOW! But im being patient and waiting till the Thursday before memorial weekend. That is when the dealers get the 411 on the incentives. Good luck!
So far i negotiated 4k under MSRP ($3,250 + $750 ford's current incentive), hoping to go even lower.

More than likely, it will be additional trade in assistance.

Me too. I found a few premium autos in the low to mid 33k range, but they are all around an 8 hour drive away. I keep planning a road trip, but on the days I have free that I can go I change my mind knowing that it usually takes several hours negotiating and hoping they give a decent trade in amount, ect. then I still have to drive back. I even tried emailing a few dealers closer that have near "base" premiums to see if they can match and most say they can't go that low. Now if I were to go with a base auto with a few options, there are plenty more to choose from closer, but they are really not much cheaper (29.5-32.5k).

You can also get $750 Ford private cash by getting Mustang brochures from Ford.com. I get them emailed and sent in the regular mail. This time I got the $750 offer both by email and in the mailed brochure.

I tried both the email and mail option and a couple times and don't see it in the download version and have yet to get one in the mail. btw, I got an internet price for a car I was looking at from a closer dealer, but its still a couple grand more than the car on the coast. Their website says they will match any written offer, but that would defeat the purpose if I had to drive out there to get the offer for the closer place.

Last year, it was 0% APR for 72 mos./ $500 cash back, which stayed that way until about mid-August, when it went to $1000 cash back on 2015's left in stock (about 2 weeks after I pulled the trigger and bought my 2015 car :frusty: ).

Good news! Another place I contacted about one of their cars said they can't go as low as I wanted on the one they have, but can find me one in my price range. Although it might not be my first pick in color, honestly I can't make my mind up what color I want. I pretty much like them all except for yellow, white or blue. They are about a 3 hour drive, so thats more doable, but we shall see what they come up with and then I have to find out about trade in, ect.
