Having both is much better. A lot of people don't finance and if zero percent is the only incentive, you either take that or get screwed. And then you have all the hassle of monitoring the payments and not being able to title the car in the name of a trust, etc..

Twenty percent off a one year old car in low demand isn't a great deal IMO. It would be a point to negotiate further from.

just picked up the car 2 days ago. 250 incentives in october. what pissed me off is that the loan officer used 4.9% for 60 months, and he says "this the best i can do", and even showed me a book that shows ford pre approved loans. i mentioned that i was pre approved by bank of america 2.1% for 60 months. then he started playing with his computer and got me a 1.9% for 60 months thru bank of america. moral of the story, just shop around to get lower apr.

I bought mine in july and i found on autotrader the lowest price gt manual i could find at that time it was 7000 off being 30,500. But i just did the same search today and a gtpp is 32k. I drove about 65 miles to get it.

I would have thought october would be cheaper than the middle of summer, not so. Hmm this is interesting!

I'm in the same boat. Ford is offering nothing and I've always been a GM guy. I am looking at a Camaro or Mustang. I know I would be happy with either car. I can get a better deal on the Camaro and the local Ford dealers don't seem to care. I am looking for a 2017 Ruby Red GT PP. I am trying to get something out the door at $35.5K. Right now we are a little over a thousand apart.

If ford did a 20% off for leftover 2016 models I would more than likely jump at the last CO base gt at my local dealer. That dealer still lists it at 34k and is only willing to come down to 32k.

Ended up going with the Camaro myself, did the 20% plus a little more from the dealer. Both are awesome cars. . . the Ford was even more practical and comfortable, but for my last ICE car, went with what wowed me the most. . .

Unfortunately, I think they're going to have to do a little better than that. I am looking for an OTD price of $35K for a car with a sticker of $36,210 (Ruby Red GT PP). I know this is a fair price in CA. This $1000 off would put the dealer and I roughly $1000 apart. I'm wondering if they will bite on it now.
