mbrp - shipping issues - updated with response.

Just a follow up ... I got my Roush axle back exhaust today ... Guess what ? Yup , one of the tail pipes poked a hole in the box and bent the end of the pipe ... It was packed well but my guess UPS caused this problem .. I'm keeping it and will take it to a exhaust shop and have them make the pipe round again ...

I have the same problem with my Roush, driver side pipe is crushed to hell due to the shipping. Gonna love UPS.. those people can destroy anything.

However Roush is overnight me the replacement right now. Thanks Jay from hypermotive to make things right for me.

How are the systems from Borla looking?
My last CBE from them was totally encased in foam with plastic used to keep the injected foam from sticking to the exhaust pieces. I had to cut each piece out.
I remember cussing my ass off due to the hassle but in the end it was well worth it to not have anything damaged.

well they tried. fedex managed to screw this one up too. luckily the mufflers arrived perfect this time. only bend is where the h pipe popped out of the box.

Feels like I am going to cry. Roush ended up sending me the wrong side, so now I have 2 good passenger side and 1 bad driver side. :doh:

I was super excited to get these for my birthday, but I guess it won't make it anymore..

I did specify that driver side is damaged from my communication. I feel bad for Jay that have to deal with this again:(

After hearing all the shipping stories I was worried about ordering the MBRP. Got the aluminized version in yesterday through UPS with no damage from what I can tell. It was packaged like phrenetik's picture, but no poking from the box. Going to install it within the next few days (maybe the weekend).
I've ordered other exhausts before and must say the packaging was better secured (strapped to box/caps on open ends) but this one came in okay.

There is a 4-6 week wait on MBRP orders right now. My assumption is that they are going to be repackaging their cat backs for the 15's.

Just ordered me an MBRP Street Stainless kit. I also live overseas... lets hope all the crazy mail transfers don't bring me a box full of junk exhaust. Not that hard to put cardboard or whatever foam crap around the whole kit. Surprised some piks show the box just full of metal parts. Oh well.... lets see if I can be the exception to the rule.

Got my Roush axle back fixed and on the car today .... Sounds great and the big chrome tips look cool ! Also install the Steeda rear shifter mount ...No added noise or vibration to the inside of the car ..Shifter feels better ( tighter ) ...
