When I did mine DIY the H-Pipe wasn't level. I got back under it and started checking the hangers, etc.., noticed the H Pipe was tilted. Straightened that up and everything else lined up perfectly.Anyone have an issue with an exaust tip hanging lower than the other and have a fix?
Impossible task to find one that doesn't have this and doesn't do that. I love the street version that I have, the WOT tone is something I can't describe, heavy rasp, I guess. It's louder thatn I wanted, louder than I expected. Everyone's ear is different.I have the MBRP street ordered it last week came last friday still sitting in living room (Michigan life go away snow). I keep hearing mixed reviews I kinda wanna do the race one but I hear people complain about drone but then I hear the street sound bad at WOT. Help me out team!
The WOT tone is interesting. Not quite straight pipes but by no means subtle. Tell you the truth, in street driving I rarely get to that rpm range or throttle position. Every other characteristic is amazing tho. Especially the price and quality.I have the MBRP street ordered it last week came last friday still sitting in living room (Michigan life go away snow). my problem is one side seems to want to creep up over time and touch the rear valance, causing vibration issues on cold start. Ive had it readjusted twice now over the last 3-4 months. Will look for a better longer-term solution if it creeps back up againAnyone have an issue with an exaust tip hanging lower than the other and have a fix?

yep true dat! A lot of people don't claim rasp but I claim heavy rasp. Who knows. On to the next set up lolthis ^

I couldn't get mine right until I slightly tweaked the rearmost hanger on one side. I stuck a pipe over the bar stock piece and bent it just a touch. Don't remember which way, though.my problem is one side seems to want to creep up over time and touch the rear valance, causing vibration issues on cold start. have any problems getting your alignment into spec w/ the sportlines?I like my "race", my gf likes the sound too, we have taken the car on long trips a couple times, one a 10hr round trip Central Cali to South Cali, the sound doesn't bother us at all, actually wish it was louder, I am on the sportline springs and through the horrible interstate roads in LA I did scrape alot. On average though the exhaust doesn't scrape.
is anyone else having alignment issues with their MBRP exhaust?I couldn't get mine right until I slightly tweaked the rearmost hanger on one side. I stuck a pipe over the bar stock piece and bent it just a touch. Don't remember which way, though.
