Anyone have an issue with an exaust tip hanging lower than the other and have a fix?
When I did mine DIY the H-Pipe wasn't level. I got back under it and started checking the hangers, etc.., noticed the H Pipe was tilted. Straightened that up and everything else lined up perfectly.

Impossible task to find one that doesn't have this and doesn't do that. I love the street version that I have, the WOT tone is something I can't describe, heavy rasp, I guess. It's louder thatn I wanted, louder than I expected. Everyone's ear is different.

The WOT tone is interesting. Not quite straight pipes but by no means subtle. Tell you the truth, in street driving I rarely get to that rpm range or throttle position. Every other characteristic is amazing tho. Especially the price and quality.

However when you do open it up on a freeway on ramp or at the track, it has a "Get the **** outta my way" persona to it.

my problem is one side seems to want to creep up over time and touch the rear valance, causing vibration issues on cold start. Ive had it readjusted twice now over the last 3-4 months. Will look for a better longer-term solution if it creeps back up again

I couldn't get mine right until I slightly tweaked the rearmost hanger on one side. I stuck a pipe over the bar stock piece and bent it just a touch. Don't remember which way, though.

I just installed my mbrp race this morning. It took me 2 hours from jacking the car up to putting it back on the ground. I would say it was easier than what I expected. It sounds great. Kind of a little bit like a foxbody with an off road pipe and Flowmasters... :headbang:

Anyone trying to decide either race or street.... Go for the race. :headbang:

I like my "race", my gf likes the sound too, we have taken the car on long trips a couple times, one a 10hr round trip Central Cali to South Cali, the sound doesn't bother us at all, actually wish it was louder, I am on the sportline springs and through the horrible interstate roads in LA I did scrape alot. On average though the exhaust doesn't scrape.

have any problems getting your alignment into spec w/ the sportlines?

is anyone else having alignment issues with their MBRP exhaust?

I have had to have mine adjusted more than once now because the left pipe/muffler/tip slowly moves over time and ends up touching my rear valance and causing a rattle.

Is this just an issue with the hangers? The exhaust was aligned properly and fully tightened so bit frustrating that it keeps wanting to creep up

I had to get it adjusted after installing so that I could install the left tip. After adjustment it was perfect.

I scrape the shit out of the H-pipe from time to time though...
