Installing a KB 2.8lc on my 2017 and was wondering how far you would push it on a car daily driven half the year? I have a 13lb pulley (3.5in) already installed, and spare 14lb pulley (3 3/8), and 15lb pulley (3.25in). Id1050xs and a sai li fuel kit with plans of running e85. I just did the crank sprocket and oil pump gears.

It's not really about the psi that's just restriction, it's about the actual power & most will say 700-750whp. I daily mine on e85 at 800ish whp on 12psi/lbs.

What he said. And detonation/knock at higher boost levels is what would likely kill the engine quicker, like mine. One tank of crap gas and goodbye if your pushing the edge on the octane. Lots of factors involved, temp, humidity, octane, timing, load, etc.

I am at 12 to 13 psi with a d1 on e85 and i.dont care what anyone on this form says im.running out of pump at 7k rpms.My fuel.sysyem is installed correct and fueling is perfect all the way to 7k.Only thing I can they to resolve this is go with a bigger feed line.Jon from Lund said he seen these pumps run out before depending on setup.I would think I'm about 750 rwhp on e85.So op if your running more then 13 psi of boost especially if it's real cold make sure to check your fuel at higher rpms.

All the boost is the only way lol.

I’m running 18psi on e85 with a tune from Lund and my car is happy. It all depends on your complete setup, fuel and how the car is treated/maintained imo.

Hmm
Before the turbo’s i ran 15 psi with my JT-B at 7600rpm with ID1300’s and his twin pump kit with stock feed line no problem. Also tuned by Lund and on e85

Same here.
16 psi with 2200sl at 7200rpm with DW1000 on e85 made 900whp. My injectors were maxed out. If I had 1300 or even 1700 could of pushed it more with the twin pumps. I think I read Sai tuned a car with his stock twin kit with 1300 OR 1700 injectors over 1050 whp.

See i went lean with id1000’s and his twin pump kit at 14 psi on a cold night with my 2200sl around 800whp. Thats why i went up to 1300’s

This is why dyno numbers dont mean squat lol.

I think u hit that right on the head brother,I think this real cold weather is playing a part,I don't buy into dyno numbers either,I go with I have a 4100 hundred pond car going 140 in the quarter.I also think the Id 1300 helped u because they do better then the 1000,s when it comes to pressure drop.I think if it was 80 degrees outside I would be able to go to 7400 rpms without going lean.

Yeah i was fine in the 70-80 degree air but on one of the nights it was in the low 60’s i logged at the track and it went lean so i went up to 1300’s.
Its also taking power to make power. I opened up a decent amount more in my fuel system by going turbo.

Yea wish I had turbo money lol!!!.I know their should be a way to run a bap to one of the pumps since they have two different circuits.Just going to try hooking it up and not going through the fpm.
