The Shelby spindle is aluminum, but you're using the steel non-Shelby MR spindle, right? Here are a couple pics of the Shelby GT350R spindles & hubs I picked up a while ago for the long stud bearings:
I'm curious, did you weight the AL vs. steel?

I don’t have a steel one handy, but the bare aluminum knuckle with splash shield and two attaching bolts weighs 8 lb 15 oz. the tiny splash shield and bolts are probably no more than 3-4 oz.

So it looks like the four bolts holding the hub assembly can be taken out without removing the knuckle from the strut. Is this correct? I have my hubs with extended studs in and looking to do the swap soon.

Plus the caliper bolts - those are all single-use fasteners. There is a wheel speed sensor on the back of the spindle / hub area, but you shouldn’t have to mess with that.

ya in addition to the above,, yes you don’t have to remove the knuckle to remove the front hubs.

of course just replacing the studs would have been an easier job :)

Thanks!

Studs on back order everywhere I looked. OP showed them and their own brand sold out as well. So for $125 per side I got extended studs and new bearings. The ARP studs were anywhere from $70 to $85 per side so not much more and I have new bearings as well.

Fastforward to the time of this reply, there's a better knuckle from mach 1 with better geometry and even stronger wheel bearings. The full kit is available from levittown and steeda for a reasonable price. Just bringing awareness to this in case you are still working with this old knuckle. Levittown should give you the part number if you shoot then a dm.

Interesting, I didn't know that Mach 1 were different!

Well the thing is I already have magneride knuckles that came with a set of 6 piston front Brembo brakes and I'm looking to replace my base model knuckles and just want to make sure I don't end up ordering wrong ABS sensors

Rockauto is giving me this:
JR3Z2C204A for Front Right; GT Model; w/ Adaptive Damping Control
JR3Z2C205A for Front Left; GT Model; w/ Adaptive Damping Control

It seems they only have 2 kinds of these sensors - with and without Adaptive Damping Control.
The sensors just have different length due to difference in knuckle structure.

Yeah these are the ones. They should look significantly shorter.

Yeah the knuckles you have will definitely be an upgrade for sure. If you bought it used, i 100% suggest you get brand new wheel bearings. Both of the old ones that came with mine were bad. It gave out a terrible womp, but there was no play, so it was a pain to persuade the shop to replace it.
