In the case of the GT350, flat plane crank is a buzzword, nothing more

The Voodoo should’ve always been a CPC if Ford was going to stick with the implementation that they did

the 50hp doesn't matter. the flat-plane crank and the noise it makes has redeeming value.
Not if your engine is blown and you either are waiting for a replacement (best case) or denied coverage and on your own.

I agree that the term "FPC" is overused and overrated, but the fact remains that that engine is a godsend for sports car enthusiasts. Revs naturally to 8250 RPM, screams like banshee, 50 more HP, bespoke... You can argue all day about reliability or whatnot, but that engine is objectively more expensive to produce than the Coyote, and subjectively more valuable to most enthusiasts. That is a meaningful factor in the price of the GT350, and it does not exist in the Mach 1... But maybe/hopefully the difference will be made up for by dealer incentives on the M1.

I can't imagine there will be any since the Bullitt didn't get any, publicly at least. Dealers just had to eat it.

I'm talking about dealer incentives, not manufacturer incentives... The GT350 got neither, but I think it was very possible to get the Bullitt for less than MSRP, even if no thanks to Ford. Though it will be interesting to see if any manufacturer incentives can be had for the Mach 1.

Bullitts were being advertised for 5-8k off back in late 2019.

Thanks.

Looks great.
Zach, do the A10 Mach's you're getting have the gas guzzler?
I'm not seeing it on new window stickers at dealerships near me.
No, it has been removed.
