Well Everyone, I received the email I’ve been eagerly awaiting.
I have my VIN. Scheduled to be built first week of March and delivery 2 weeks later so maybe later March I’ll have it.
Wow, this is getting real...
$57k is the most I’ve ever spent for a car and $20k more than I ordered my 15 GT premium for. This thing better be special and limited! Lol
Congrats. Thanks for sharing the time line. My dealer gave me only time frame in weeks, not specific dates. I bought my '15 GT Premium as a 12-month old, 12, 000 miles, certified pre-owned (was owned by Ford Corp.) so I skipped the full price tag.

I was prepared to either order a new Mach or buy a new one off the lot this spring. I am not worried about availability. Currently autotrader has 112 new GT 350s and 17 Rs for sale. And, this is a car with an engine we will likely never see again. And, 472 GT 500s. And, these are the new ones, there are also used cars as well. I got my Bullitt in early '19 for $5,722 off the sticker. I just took my time and looked around.

I wanted a stick with the Tremec, but I will wait for a test drive with the "newly calibrated 10 speed auto". It might be the better pick.

If I was in the market for another stick then I would’ve maybe been able to pull off buying a 2020 GT350.. it is by far my favorite car out there, truely special look, sound and history in the Shelby that I appreciate a lot.
Unfortunately I need to switch to an Auto and this was finally the model that checked all the boxes for me to do that.
If you ask my wife, all I do Is look at 350’s online and show her... lol

The Mach has a look of its own and making them only for 2 years, it will be more uncommon than the Shelby. When I saw one in Velocity blue (not my original pick) it really came off with a presence that I never got from the videos. The exhaust sound when it pulled away was just ear and then eye catching. I think you will be very, very happy with the Mach in 10 speed especially if Ford tweaked the transmission's niggles.

You saw it live huh? That’s awesome! Videos never do exhausts any justice.
My Borla catback is great but a good sounding stock setup with no drone will be nice!

The Borla with the active exhaust will not drone that is the experience I had on my 18 with active exhaust. I had the ATAK as well.

With that said the axlebacks are different on the Mach 1, at least for you guys in the US I don't think there is any need to get a louder exhaust than what e.g. a res-delete and this setup will give. Maybe the Mach 1s already have a res-delete? Reason I am saying that is the you don't have the GPF-filters as we do have here.

I doubt they will remove the resonator as that will add cabin noise for sure. But I am curious to how it sounds different than the normal GT. If it's louder, and/or more muscle car sound, I'm good with that!

Man, y’all are making me jealous! Sucks that I’m gonna be waiting until next model year... hopefully they fix the color choices by then, or all my waiting will be for nothing

Man, that's tough. Is there really no current color that would make you hit the switch.
