I like the functionality and the looks but I'm a bit suspicious of the integrity of these at high speeds. looks like they produce a measurable down force. My worry is how it is mounted. I like 3m tape but it has its limits I think.
Yep I didn’t trust the tape. Decided to use nuts and bolts.

For anyone wondering, here they are:

May I ask the width of car with the canards on? I have a open trailer with limited width (81") between the trailer wheel wells.

I trailer too.

Well the widest part of the body work, which is the back edge of the HP lip at the fender well , then you’re adding 1” to that. But depending on what wheels and camber you are running then the lower part of the wheel is wider anyway. You should still have plenty of clearance either side. I’m measuring it here with easy 3 inches to spare to your 81” total needed.

I’m on 18x11 apex fronts using a 24mm spacer, -3.6 camber, and here’s how it looks:

Thanks Aaron. Appreciate you taking the time to answer on this. This would work. I also use Apex wheels EC-7 for the track but kept to 19". -3.6 camber. What camber adj. plates you using?

Thanks. My next step was to get Vorshlag adj plates to get beyond my -2.65. I think you may have the below part but also I'll need to do my homework on what everything does as even with the adj plates there are more than one option. I am also hearing about coilovers and the benefits of these. SPL Parts TITANIUM Series Front Lower Control Arms S550 Ford Mustang

Yeah I have their LCA arms (you need to order their Mach 1/GT500 specific version) and I have the tension rods too. The coilovers will give you even more clearance but I haven't got there yet. Grinding away on the stock shocks with BMR springs, bar and a GT500 DSC tune.

Just came across this thread. Are you able to share more pics of your front splitter or who designed it?
It’s the GT350 splitter from Verus.

For the Mach 1 It requires heavy modding to the splitter, and brackets that come in the kit to make it work. You also need to cut and adapt the oem undertray and HP lip, along with sourcing a solution for the air dam, and fitting extra splitter rods and supports.

I wouldn’t recommend doing it!!

I also just realized, it will be a totally different set of challenges for you, although you have the 777 bumper, the structure, and layout is completely different on the front end of the Mach 1 car.

I had a set of 777 Performance canards and would recommend mounting them with anything besides the 3M tape

Ran mine for 3 months and just lost my passenge

Wow really, I’m running 3m on mines and been well over 100. I did use adhesive Promoter and bought the stronger 3m tape.
