Justin from the Whipple facebook group had the Whipple tune, then switched to Lund and ID1000's 93 tune and liked Whipples better, he then switched to E85 with Lund and is going faster than Whipples 93 tune.

800HP on the dyno He has a manual so you need more than just power to go fast.

With the centri you probably have less traction issues.
I most definitely have traction issues but I can pedal. Good for Justin, some people have better success than others. There are built in features that whipple offers to help traction and power, if you need that help it is the best choice.

Experience is probably the most important factor here.

Since your car is manual it is a toss up. Lund will make more power and more useable power with traction present but if you need whipples features to go fast then that would benefit you
I have the base Whipple tune not the new Flight control.

That car isn't making 800rwhp lol that trap is 590-630rwhp. 800rwhp is 138-142 I would say.

Nice, have you ran a full 1/4? PD really shine in the 8th. Come up to OSW and grab a lane

I bet we start to see better results from Whipple tuned cars this year.

My car traps 134+ in positive DA, put down 625/535 through an auto/3.15, 79mm pulley/11psi, pump gas, 20's. Just posting more for reference of what it takes on a smaller blower with less boost then the 700+ Whipple setups on higher boost/3.625 that trap 130-133'ish.
Food for thought

Here is a Lund tuned Whipple that ran 10.8 at 132-133mph in +1500-2000 da with less mods than the fastest Whipple tuned car I have seen.

My problem with the Whipple cars is that I have yet to see one that will pull 30-32 mph in the back half, seen plenty of TVS, Paxton, Vorthech, Procharger cars that have. ?? Also, all these Whipple tuned cars making 700+WHP trapping what 550-600rwhp should.

I wonder if the gearing has something to do with the speed on the back half. That one in the link has 3.73 gears. I would think that the 3.31s would be faster on the back half.
