Clutch protection is a feature in the stock calibration that will act similar to advancetrac. When the clutch slips between shifts in higher Rpms the throttle closes and bogs the car down. Custom tunes remove that so you can bang gears with no worries.

Seems like both vendors have the same listed price for the package Ngauge and CAI....who do I choose?:shrug:
All I can say is this, we knew this was the direction lund was looking to go 8 months ago and started promoting the product and even turning some sct sales away encouraging people to wait on the gauge
I encourage you to do a forum search for ngauge and see how long we were promoting the prouct long before anyone else was even though we wouldn't get to sell it first. I think that speaks volume
In addition we are available from 8am to 10pm seven days a week for answers to questions and tech support. No one compares and no other owner to a business of our size gives their personal cell so that when your stuck late at night and need tech help, you can get ahold of someone.

I decided this time I'm going with beef. I dumped over 10k with another vendor and they left me waiting over 6 months on parts. It all got resolved but it was because I kept calling them. They never reached out to me.

as far as pricing, the pricing will be the same no matter where you go. you just have to go with who you think is going to take care of you.

funny story, 7 years ago I paid $7000 USD to this dude in Florida by the name of Frank L Llorente, with Xtreme Boost. Upgrades for a turbo + exhaust etc. Guy scammed me (and like 15 locals) and bailed interstate... good salesmanship there

Whats the stock temperature for fans to go on? Are you guys leaving yours at 190* once tuned or upping to 205? Is there an advantage of having it come on earlier, seems like mine is running all the time once the car gets to temperature unless of course im driving at a consistent speed but i do a lot of city driving.
