These are the ones I used. I have not had any issues with CEL. I can not comment on the drive shaft loop.
I had the v3 on my 11 and ran it for close to 70k with no issues. It is a solid entry blower. Like beef said i would encourage you to look art the 2200 just because there is much more head room for the same price and there is no compromise in choosing the 2200 over the v3.

I think one of the biggest selling points on the whipple that hasn't really been given attention is the flight control / gaurdian system. I have had other fi systems in the past and nothing compares to the whipple support in this area. For me it was the biggest selling point.
