LUND will officially drop support & no longer offer any services for any SCT tuner (current Ngauge owners need not worry). They decided to go with the HpTuners RTD https://www.makperformance.com/hp-tuners-rtd.html, with possibly ANDROID full support (data logging, monitoring, ecu flashing). Personally I think it's a brilliant move on their part. Just a little heads up.

Yeah, I saw their post about it. I hope my Ngauge never stops working, lol.

MPVI2 is the same price, but Lund won't write a tune for it since it cannot be locked.

Interesting looks like HPtuners is getting into the tuning business.

I wouldn't be surprised if all tuners drop SCT as they claim copywrite on all tunes using their devices.

I don't see it on HP's site, wonder if vendor only.

Where did you get your information?

1). You can lock tunes in HPTuners. Most tuners don't lock them because If the owners needs to put the vehicle back to stock, they can do so with having the tuner do it. Also, Lund can make any tune AND CAN TELL IF THEIR TUNE HAS BEEN MODIFIED IN ANY WAY....on HPTuners

2). HPTuners has been in the business (For Years) of supplying hardware & software, so DIY'ers can tune their own vehicle.

3). There's no such thing as copy-writing tunes. When you pay for a tune, it's yours. Thats how the low level shops sell tunes that they purchase from the more reputable, big names shops.

How long have you been tuning?

Call or Email Lund and ask if he will send you a tune using your credits.

As far as SCT goes read their terms and conditions to use racer pro software.
