Lowering my R.... or not

You should buy a set of the non-R PSS tires. That will both raise the ride height a little and lower the wheel gap since the side walls are a little bigger. Plus, they're much better daily driver tires than the Cup 2s. Better in the rain and quieter. Not sure why you wasted so much money on the R when it sounds like a non-R is much more suited to your needs, but whatevs.

The reason the factory went with 30 series sidewall tires vs 35 on the R is probably because the lower sidewall would give better performance, especially if the suspension has been tuned to use the 30 series tires so I'd like to keep the PSS in 30 series.

And you are out of place in saying "Not sure why you wasted so much money on the R...", how can anyone who love these cars say "wasted so much money on the R"??? Wasted is too strong of a word my friend.

The beauty about owning a car is that it is yours, and you can do whatever you want to it. I would lower the car for sure

In regards to the spring spacers, how can you tell if an R was delivered with the spring spacers still installed? Is there a way to tell if they are still installed?

lower it, i wna lower mine as well. lol just havent pulled the trigger
