Hi Randy,
I'm in the middle of selling my R because I also placed an order for a T for European delivery at end of March. Car will be ready by late January but I need to wait for my daughter's spring break week so the whole family can go. A little off topic but can you share some tips for the...
But the "only other difference is the wing and rims" cost $16K for the wheels and $13K for the wing!!! Plus suspension calibration is different too. But hey I have a family to carry and I wanted a R, so what's wrong with that?
You are right, but Ford Performance sells a $999 backseat kit that you can buy and I had it installed the first week I got the car. I purchased the car as a family car and that's why I needed the backseat. Hey don't laugh, I needed a car with backseats and still drives great and the Shelby...
Selling my 2018 GT350R, with car cover, electronics package, painted black roof factory options. MSRP $69615.00
Aftermarket add-ons: JLT oil separator for both driver and passenger side, Steeda front suspension brace, Ford Performance rear seat.
Car is in perfect shape with no paint chips, and...
Not yet as I had a Viper ACR as my track toy, also use a Viper TA, a manual Porsche GT3 occasionally, also have a '67 restomod Vette w/ a Richmond Gear 5 speed road race box for vintage type events. Believe it or not, I use the Shelby as my family car! As this is the car that I still enjoy...
I had the MGW in my R for about 1500 miles, couldn't get used to the push down to reverse and the strong centering spring tension so I've gone back to the OEM shifter. I can tell for sure the MGW's throw is shorter (some say the throw isn't much shorter but it is) especially the lateral move...
Reviving an old thread.... George after driving the car for over 1000 miles since the MGW install, I still find the centering spring tension too high. And if I pull the shifter from center to the left to go into first or second hard, the metal reverse stop bolt would hit the shifter housing and...
The reason the factory went with 30 series sidewall tires vs 35 on the R is probably because the lower sidewall would give better performance, especially if the suspension has been tuned to use the 30 series tires so I'd like to keep the PSS in 30 series.
And you are out of place in saying...
That's about what my quote was too, but I just couldn't justify spending that much money on clear bar on a "Mustang" (flame suit on). So who can do heed, bumper and fenders for under a grand in Socal?
I noticed the R riding very high, kinda like an SUV when I first saw her at the dealership but that turned out the dealership never took the spring spacers out of the front springs:lol: So that doesn't count and I mentioned it as I wonder how many dealership would deliver an R with those spring...
Don't know what people call it, but I see people showing off what they get from Ford - a mini flat plane crank and a presentation box w/ a oil filter inside.
It's almost time for an oil change so I wonder if Ford is still sending out the oil filter and the Crank Trophy? If so, how many weeks did you guys have to wait to get either?
On those 11.5 rears, you said you could cut them in lesser offset so they won't stick outside of the fender. So what offset will that be and are you sure they won't rub on the inside if I were to run Toyo R888R 325/30-19's on a non-lowered car?
That'd be the way to go. I'm actually looking for a second set of wheel to drive around town in and was looking around for something like a Pilot Super Sport in 315's but they aren't available. What are my tire choices?
