I normally dont mess with factory lights but the red taillights always stuck out on this car to me. These look pretty spot on to me. Anyone else using them?

Almost 11k mi on mine since late oct 2020. Not a cftp either so not a "collector" car anyway. Drive it in nyc, hockey bag in trunk, you name it. I just try to be smart and never park outside anywhere (even home) overnite for opportunistic thieves

Sounds like they read you the tsb details... no thread repairs should be needed from what i can see unless someone went nuts on the bolt

After some thought on this... Dont waste your time with ANY available aftermarket "fixes" other than the LMT unless your positive its a seal. Once you have a leak its very likely the line cracked right around the crimped tab. I think the reason (among many)these fail like this is the factory...

Really hard to tell if its working correctly. Id have to take shield off or use dental mirror to watch as i draw the bolt tight. No lift here. Yes i was concerned about threads too so i used the longer bolt for more engagement.

Yeah.. as long as it doesnt leak i guess. Funny, i actually started to make that part by hand out of 1/8" steel. It leaked under pressure and I said screw it for 135 bucks let me try these. I even bent the "forks" down a bit to get more pessure on opposite side. Used longer bolt too.. EDIT...

Decided against welding on the tube, advised it could tear tubing since it sees so much vibration and movement. I ordered the SPE unit since its a quick no-cut fix..

After calling a couple local dealers and getting long waits to get in i am going to try to make my own fix. Im gonna tig a metal bar on an angle that connects to the bolt bracket and the tube. It will be welded so the tube is pushing barely past vertical. I will get a pic when i get time

Another front fitting leaker here.. about 8k mi. Nice drip going. Guess i will order 2 of the fitting kits

Yep. Also The powerstop pad dust is more black than the slight orange or whatever the stock pads leave behind
