Painted OTT stripe and Vinyl side stripes possible ?

Hi, I was doing a GT 500 build on fords website. It does not seem possible to get the painted OTT black stripe and the vinyl rocker side stripes. Is this correct ? No way to do this from the factory ?

Correct, for some reason if you spend $10,000 on painted OTT stripes, you can not then get the vinyl side stripes.

Ok, I am still torn on getting the painted stripe or not. All my previous stripes have been vinyl. Guess I could save $8,000 and just do the vinyl.

Honestly I’m not impressed with the OEM vinyl stripes. I have the ebony black ones on my rapid red and their orange peel effect is horrendous. Not to mention they don’t run the stripes over the edge of the hood so there’s a very noticeable gap between the bumper and hood. I’ll be removing mine as soon as my detailer gets a special adhesive removal the vinyl guys use when taking off PPF or other vinyl removal.

Yeah, I went with big worm stripes on my GT 350, they were great. I do recall stripe QC issues on the GT 350 as well.

I have decided I am going with the painted OTT stripe on the Rapid red GT 500
