I know dash cams have been discussed ad nauseum but I'm looking for low profile/non obtrusive options.

Last mustang I owned I ran a rexing and it was Ok enough but looking for something more low profile. Something like this would be great but not an option for our 350s I don't think
Amazon

also saw this garmin mini 2. But with texas heat I remember often coming out and the suction cup had fallen on the rexing and would like to avoid suction cup again

garmin mini 2 comes with the good 3M sticky tape (its not a suction cup). I have run one in texas for 2 years and that car is outside 24/7 with no issues,

I purchased this one recently-https://a.co/d/bSS84lP
Bought little adapter to hardwire into the power from rearview mirror- basically plug and play. Obliviously downside is only powers on when car on but that's all i wanted. Quality great so far, and way i mounted it dont even notice from the driver seat, tiny and blocked by the mirror.

FitcamX for the win if you have the rain sensor setup on your mirror. The trim swaps out and you will not notice it at all. Has to be hardwired if you want parking option to run. Wifi to download is a nice addition as well.

Got a link for the hardwire adapter you used.

Think ahead you may want to get front and rear cameras for rear end protection. We have a rag top so we had to go with the Redtiger F7N (over 7K Amazon reviews) for the water resisent rear camera so had to buy it from their web page but Amazon sells the regular version. Make sure you get the super capacitor model which ever one you get. If buying a stick on model, suction or 3M, take a piece of cardboard and get the mesurments of the camera and move it around the windscreen to make sure it will not be too obtrusive and or block passenger vision.

That's a good idea with cardboard. Sometimes simple stuff my brain just overlooks

I have the Garmin mini two on the GT. I wanted a different one with the M1 because I wanted front and rear. The mini two is fantastic for the price. Great video and pretty small and mines never falling off the windshield.

I hadn't really considered having rear capability but maybe I should look in to that after all
