It’s a 2016 pp so removed the center gauges and install some aftermarket ones. One for boost and one for oil pressure.

My problem is turned car on and got a Low Oil pressure light but I looked at my gauges is it normal pressure everything was hooked up correctly I check oil dip stick and it’s not low it’s normal. So i did remove the battery for a couple days. Could it be a tune issue since it’s tune for my whipple supercharger.

1.Tomorrow I’m gona replace the factory one just in case it messed up since I did drop it from engine bay to ground idk if some crazy reason something happened to it.
2. If that don’t work than I’m gona put the old center gauge pod back to see if maybe it goes away since it will be hooked up back to stock.

Has anyone have same problem or know if taking off the center pp gauges will cause that Low oil pressure light come up. Thanks In advance!!!

So an electric gauge then. Cool.
It was mechanical it was working fine but my problem was that i was getting a low oil pressure sign on the car dash even tho the aftermarket gauge was was reading good oil pressure the the stock one was the one throwing off the warning but I was able to plug that one back in better and problem solved

I've had the stock oil psi sensor (that feeds dash cluster) fail on prior Mustangs but my Auto Meter Mechanical oil psi gauge is reading perfect oil psi.

If debris gets into the sensor orifice it can cause psi reading issues. Pull sensor off, clean orifice with - a shot of air or carb cleaner. Make sure to use a little Teflon sealant on the sensor threads before reinstalling. Make sure harness connector to it is tight as well. See if the dash cluster lights up again - if it does and your mechanical oil psi is still within the proper spec - replace the oil psi sensor.
