Correct. The Steeda stuff will help eliminate wheel hop so you’ll be able to get the power down, so I’d start there personally. FYI the FP Track kit will lower the car about an inch. You should still be ok sitting on 20’s but something to keep in mind.
I wonder if there is a way to package them together at a decent price. I know Steeda has a build a package option, and one of their springs lower it about .625 ish. I was concerned about clearance.

@tj@steeda should be able to help you with a full Steeda IRS and suspension solution.

The good thing about Steeda is they race what they sell. So if you tell them what you want out of the car, they know what parts you need, and more importantly they know what parts you don't need.

Why’d you decide on the pro charger vs. a whipple? Just curious because I’m trying to decide between the 2. I also have a 2016 competition orange car.

So you really can’t go wrong with either. But I chose procharger because it fit with my setup. Procharger is essentially a bolt on, I have a 2018 ported manifold, if I went whipple I would’ve had to remove that. I just didn’t want to throw that money away.

Additionally, whipple you feel a lot more on lower RPMs vs the procharger which builds boost as the RPM rise. You push the pedal with a whipple and you feel boost immediately. I drive mine as a daily driver in the summer, I didn’t want to sacrifice my drive quality. Now that could be perfectly fine for other people and I know people who love whipple.

My local tuner shop installs both but this is what he recommended. The whine of a pro-charger is something else haha

That makes a lot of sense! I will be daily driving mine as well. I appreciate the advice! What shop did you use for the Installation?

My local shop is called Racemod, it’s here in North Canton OH. There is also another really good place called the Snake Pit up near Cleveland OH, but I felt like Racemod’s pricing was a little more reasonable.

Hello All!

I own a 2016 Competition Orange GT, non PP. I have put a ton of cash into making it how I want it and now I am stuck with what to do next. I haven't touched the suspension or brakes yet, and I have about $2500 to work with currently. I am looking for any recommendations. I have also been considering upgrading the audio because I am not a huge fan of the Shaker system.

Mods List
Procharger Stage 2 system with D1X
Stainless Power Long Tubes with High Flow Cats
MBRP Street Exhaust System
2018 Ported Intake Manifold
3.73 Rear Gear Pumpkin with Steeda Bushings
20' Rims with Mickey Thompson Street Comp Tires

Cosmetics
New Racing Stripes
MP Concepts GT500 Front End
Gt500 Rear Diffuser
Performance Pack Gauges w/ dash trim
Custom Steering Wheel
Rear Taillights
Black Badge Package
Really comes down to what you're planning to use the car for. Street with a little strip you could do a set of lowering springs front and rear, Viking shock in the rear and then the Steeda IRS braces or the BMR Cradle Lockouts. Really comes down to how little or how much you want. The biggest thing with these IRS cars is the IRS bracing from BMR or Steeda and a nice double adjustable shock for the wheel hop. Then springs help with weight transfer; plus they look so good lowered vs the factory ride height!

Again really comes down to goals and how far you want to get into the suspension. Hit me up and we can go over all the options and get it dialed in for you!

Feel free to DM me or call with any questions!

Let me know if I can help out with any questions. There's not a bad option when it comes to boost. Comes down to how you want the power to come in. Centri like the Procharger and Paxton/ Vortech setups are going to have more mid to high power and you'll roll into the boost. Where the Whipple / PD setups will have more down low and a snappier throttle response.

Coyotes love boost so again there ins't a bad option.

Hit me up and I can get you dialed in for sure!
