I was at a Drive-In Theater last night and we could not figure out how to run the radio (used for movie sound) and also turn off the three LED stripes in the front headlights.

Any ideas?

We had the same issue at a drive in and we ended up just turning off the car and listening to the stereos around us.

The last drive in we went to we have my wife's BMW and couldn't find a way to shut off the halo lights. But I cam prepared for it and had pieces of cardboard in the car ready to go and simply popped the hood, put them in place, and closed the hood.

A cop came over looking at it and stopped to talk. He thought that he knew how to turn them off, but his method didn't work.

When we go again we will have the cardboard ready. I checked my wife's Lincoln and my Mustang and didn't see a way to turn the running lights off.

This is the only way I know how. Park your car, shut it off, open and close the door. External lights will shut off. Press the power button on the radio. Now the annoying thing is the radio will turn off every 20-30 minutes (I forget) simply press the power button on the radio again. Forscan can alter the time-out to extend up to 1 hour max. if you are so inclined.

All you have to do is set the parking brake. It will shut those lights off

I use my parking brake all the time but it doesn't shut them off. It does shut off the DRLs.

Press gear icon on steering wheel, Advanced Settings, Vehicle, Lighting, Daytime Lights.
I have mine turned off all the time, looks better with the blacked out lights.
