The only way to defeat adm is with your pocketbook! If everyone refuses to pay a cent more than msrp they will eventually come down it is all about patience. Ive never even paid msrp lol but my car sat brand new up under a pine tree for one year before i bought it for 10k off.
You're smoking crack.

ADM or not, you either can and will pay top dollar to have it ASAP, or you wont
And watch the videos on the sidelines on YouTube.

Not going to happen. Guaranteed the initial shipment of GT500s are sold in a week of hitting a lot. With most already having a deposit on them.

Crack is a little pedestrian, but I am using the her-o-een ...
Ha! LOL, I do think your posts are generally amusing, witty, and informative. However, these entitled people who sit on their ass while this whole 500 thing approaches and expect an MSRP deal? Who do these people think they are? Many people, a long time ago, were smart and worked their deals way before it got to this point. And now that the time draws near?? ..... people are amazing. Sit on it and your pocketbooks(LOL), wait till the ADMs subside, buy the car sitting under a pine tree for a year for 10K under sticker.... I don't care. It may very well be a long time before ADM's subside. Look at the 350 and especially the R.

Sorry Comrades, but we live in a free market society. Either make your deals early based upon a loyal business relationship with your local dealership or pay an ADM.

I'm tired of the entitled bellyaching.

the 5-10k markup is worth the price of admission to me, to enjoy the car longer, than wait around, and rather go back and forth with a ford salesman.

I get it, 5-10k is a lot for some people, I can always generate more money, I cannot generate more time.
Exactly, 5k im good with, 10k is pushing it, so i added the bonus of coming to them for the 2020 explorer lease as well

And watch V00D00'S videos on the sidelines on YouTube.
Fixed it for you

I had a friend across the country, go to a Ford dealer, offer to buy a new 2019 Raptor, and a GT350, as long as they would make him a good deal. The dealer wouldn't play ball, wanted both for sticker. This was last month. No idea, what was up with that.

I may have found 1 locally willing to make my deal, but ive talked to plenty that are adamant about 20-30k over, several that blatantly said 5-10k over, but refused to make a deal now for one when i said id do 5k over. I just dont understand these people

Dealers typically have a list. People willing to pay 20 over, 15 over, 10 etc. Obviously they then see what initial demand will be, and start their with the people willing to pay the highest.

If they feel demand is going to be 20, but turns out it’ll be more like 10, they will still call those people willing to pay 20, as they aren’t dumb, and know the prospective buyers also know the market, and will realize they wont have a single issue moving the car to them at the new full markup of 10.

Aren't dealers still getting decent ADM on Raptors? I guess they figured a Raptor and GT350 both @ MSRP is like a getting the GT350 for a discount :D

Hmm, I looked into one, and was quoted around $4000 off sticker, of a $72k truck. I think the demand has died down on them some.

Only a fool would pay ADM on a depreciating asset. (A timeless Thomas Tusser quote comes to mind). Paying over MSRP for a production line, mass produced car that in five years will be nothing more than a used Mustang/Camaro/Challenger that is now outperformed by the latest and greatest, is absurd.

The "value" (other than driving) in the latest generation USA made pony GTs is the astonishing level of performance per dollar spent. ADM negates that.

If money is no object, why settle for a GT500/ZLE/SRTwidebody? Perhaps a hand built exotic is in order.

Just saying. Let the hate fest begin
