wait, you use your trucks to do actual WORK? I thought that was a myth. Like the ruminations of gramps on the porch sucking on his pipe...first day out with our new F250. We were starting the first of the 21' corn planting today & had our 08' F350 already on the gooseneck loaded. Talking with our son-in-law we decided might as well see what the new 21' would get along with a heavy load. So we dropped it & hooked up the 21'.
How come the 7.3 over the diesel?Wanted to pass this along about the first day out with our new F250. Well .... I tell you it was quite a surprise! The new 7.3 gas along with the new 10 speed trany walked the dog with that loaded trailer which was north of 31000# !!! Looks like the 08' diesel will be on another trailer. It was a great feeling ,almost like driving the GT350 the first time, almost.
I didn't know you could get a diesel Cayenne? That's awesome. We used to have a F-Pace diesel that got 38mpg. It was awesome!Recently grabbed a "truck" that's slightly smaller than most of the ones in this thread, but with the diesel it does 35 mpg on the highway and is extremely comfortable and reasonably fun to drive. It'll handle my aluminum trailer and 2700-lb race car, no problem.
LOL, when I dismantled my deck last fall, the heaviest of the three loads of scrap lumber I hauled out with my RCSB (pictured elsewhere in the thread) tared out at 1,080 pounds.wait, you use your trucks to do actual WORK?
