As we found with a couple of installs already, the 2018 is now even tighter in the ac line area.

With problems with false knock , kooks went back to the drawing board with a redesign.

Vs making a new part # for 15-17 and 18+ kooks is now going to have 1 part # and include 02 extensions for both years of cars, few bucks more on their end, but easier for inventory and to make sure customers have what they need.

In addition, they have stepped up with a 2" header as well. We ran their 2" headers on our shop car for years, and it's what we have on our 2018 car now.

They have also added x and h pipe catbacks in polished and black tip as well. Along with axle 2 different back systems.

here are all the new 2018 items.

Are Kooks headers the only ones who have redesigned and provide proper 02 extensions for the 18's or are the Corsa Headers also designed for the 18's and providing proper 02 extensions? I hear everyone is needing to custom rig these 18's 02 lines to make it work.

How tight of a fit are the 2" versions?

Steeda's '18 N/A drag car uses ARH headers. You'd have to ask them if they had to bend over the AC line or whatever else - I would have thought they'd mentioned any issues to me when I was there getting work done and was discussing header options with folks there. Steeda's tuner recommended Kooks to me, as well. So expensive... but I think I'd prefer the sort of mid-length design for my application, not that there's any particular power difference that I know of... I just do. But personally no problem getting 1 3/4" headers myself as that's plenty of flow for an N/A car guaranteed. Kooks just seem to have a more desirable sound of the VERY FEW that I've heard (since they're twice as expensive as what everyone else gets, haha). ARH cars I've heard (2) sound great, too, just both were basically straight piped back and that's not something I'd do so not really a good representation. The differences are minimal regardless. I've heard Borla, Stainless Works, Stainless Power, and Pypes equipped cars - all more or less the same and only Kooks sounded different (slightly) but that could have just been a consequence of what came after them, I guess.

I ordered my ARH LT headers from beefcake racing and they've been on the car for about 2.5 months. I've checked multiple times and and there are no signs of the header rubbing the AC line. Also I've been doing tuning with LUND and he hasn't mentioned any false knock.
