I like #1. Get the suede inserts vs leather. Much cooler in summer. I have the Roush versions in suede.

in med brown (or champaign) accent instead of clay red.

Otherwise some offwhite/light gray could work. Just as long as the lighter color doesn't have a blue'ish hue.

Can the suede work with the heated/cooled seats?
Yes. Even so the cooled part isn't that great, never was either. At least I sweat less on the suede vs standard leather. YMMV!

Yes both stock (401A) and the Katzkin. I sweat as soon as it hits 75 deg F. This climate change is not good for me in that way.

So, I am concerned that I think the back of the seats would be red in this configuration. which while you don't see them much, could be a bit too much?

Apparently the Katzkinz cooling option has a true cooling module under the seat VS OE ambient floor air temp, which can work well if have floor ac on very cold.
