You mean one screw for each terminal right? The square terminals on the battery should be threaded or if they aren't, there should be room to slide a square nut under, so you just screw the bolt through the cylinder terminal into the square terminal on the battery. I'll look again when I get home.Hhey guys, need some help. Bought atx20hd w terminal adapters. But adapters only came w one screw. Don’t think this bolts up to the square prongs. Any idea??
13.2V doesn't sound like it was fully charged. If the battery has enough charge to start the car but then go into low voltage protection mode, the you'll typically see voltage swings and flickering lights because the car is effectively running off just the alternator and doesn't have the load balancing of the battery. You're charging this battery to full with a lithium specific car battery charger?Ok.. new problem.. atx20hd. First day of was no problem, voltage was stable at around 13.2. Let the car sit for a week. Today i started up, and voltage started to fluctuate rapidly between 13.7-15.5. Idle it fluctuates between 13.7-14.7. Under acceleration it seems to go up to 15.5. My interior center console lighting fickered and radio turns off and on. What might be the problem? Checked the battery.. seems normal.. no sign of burns or anything..
My guess is not. That's why I asked.13.2V doesn't sound like it was fully charged. No, but definitely needs to be topped off with the charger on arrival. I'm not sure how accurate the led's on the battery are, but 13.2V is low for a lithium. A lithium battery charges faster in the car than a regular battery, so it gets topped off pretty quickly when you drive. But it likely wasn't fully charged when you put it in, and then after a week it still had enough power to start the car but went into low voltage protection after starting the car. Hook the battery up to a lithium charger overnight, until the charger reads 100%, not just the status button on the battery. Then report back.Ahh.. but why zero issues On the first day of install?? I checked the battery charge status on the battery, all 3 lights showed up. Does this battery need to be completely topped off every time before start?
That battery indicator doesnt mean squat. You should have hooked it up to a lithium battery charger and charged to 100%Ahh.. but why zero issues On the first day of install??
