I have found that ford actually does have some different oil specifications for factory fill vs service fill. However, I have not been able to determine for certain what specific differences there are and if it is all grades/models or just specific ones.

My oil was changed with only 22 km on the clock because I put a supercharger on it. It now uses 5w50 has just shy of 800km on the clock and no noises, ticks, rattles etc.

I run QSUD 5w30.... Just damn good oil!
My dad has always used Quaker State for as long as I can remember. He is 83 now. His 1997 F150 that be bought new he still uses QS in it. It has the 4.6 in it never misses a beat but that truck has been treated very very well. Stays garaged. 2 years ago he bought a new Ford Taurus and its got a v6 in it, I got him switched over to mobil 1 in that car and he seems happy with it.
