Clearly this is an S550, but what are they testing? With S650 coming in 2022 as a '23MY, this is very likely our first look at an S650 mule

This will be a mule..............current bodywork but with new bits underneath. The first prototypes will have (heavily camo'd) production intent bodywork. Hopefully we'll see the latter in the next 3 to 6 months.

And the camo on this one? I'm sure it's just to draw attention to it! (job done!)

doubtful. the sensor is mounted on-axis and all of the sightlines to rotors are obstructed. I would guess suspension response and wheel/knuckle deflection is more likely. Though I would have thought mounting potentiometers on the shocks wouldn't be that hard. If it's MR maybe it's a validation rig independent of the MR circuitry.
