I understand what he is saying but I disagree. You technically do not feel speed just like when you are in an airliner cruising at 700 mph in the air. However you do feel acceleration and deceleration which you are doing much more than moving at the same velocity for a long period of time. Along with that your brain sees the speed when your eyes see things going by fast.

Speed itself is boring other than the thrill of imagining how much it will hurt if you hit something. You don't feel speed. I mean depending on how close to the equator you live, you are going close to a thousand miles an hour just sitting in you living room from the rotation of the earth. Then there's the speed of the Earth around the sun, our arm of the Milky way, etc, etc.

Check the fine print, they listed the mustang at regular gas, camero at premium, right away that's probably going to make a few tenths difference, last I checked the mustang was recommended premium for max power, it's like they wanted to make sure the mustang was way slower! Trying to sell cameros I guess.

That's why I never signal. Lights are heavier when they are on. ;)
I drained my halogen blinker fluid for weight reduction and swapped my muffler bearings to low friction ceramic. Mullet jockeys better look out!

Car magazines should post d.a. numbers when they do their 0-60 and quarter mile tests
C/D corrects to standard temp and pressure. Not sure what any of the others do. But if R&T's test car only trapped 109, they should have gotten a new driver.

That would be counter productive to the knob slobbing fest they have with the new camaro.

I work at Chevy. Haven't seen too much excitement over the Camaro yet. We only have 3 new ones.

That's what you get for making it look just like the old one

The '10 Camaro actually had the edge on the 'stang for a while, when it came out it had an independent rear end. I was gona buy one (6-banger), but then Ford came out with the Ecoboost, which really 1-upped Chevy's base car. And having had driven both, I can tell you that the 'stang is a much nicer car to live with day in and day out :ford:

P.S. Everyone notices a Mustang and thinks it's a nice car. Never gotten more compliments on a vehicle I've owned... With a Camaro, it seems like only the bottom feeders in society appreciate it, the dudes in their middle 40's with a Mullet and a heavy metal T-shirt who live in a trailer park ;)
