That was with the old owner you have to starts over, you are going to have to pay at any rate so pay him so he can get it fixed. That's correct you have made mods to it so the current tune won't work, and everyone has to pay to play,

100% agree I will be trying to get it retuned here shortly as this was supposed to be a flip car because I wasn’t into ford but fell in love with the pos lol but I believe it might be a misfire so will get it retuned plus some new injectors real soon!

When one of my cars made that sound, it was all in the exhaust pipe. The engine was fine.
I believe it is a misfire has the misfires are bypassed so I can’t see any of them codes I will try some injectors

For me, if the past tuner of a car I bought basically told me to pound sand unless I paid him money for a tune update for a tune from the preveous owner, I would tell him by and go with a reputable tuner. Do you have the preveous owner tuning device to access your current as well as your stock tune.?

No this is one of my biggest problems I will be starting fresh with a new tuner I think I’m just not sure who I’m going with yet!

Just wondering if this could be a possible misfire had a few local small shops tell me that but every performance shop near me is booked out till November ish so I’m kinda stuck with dick in hand lol trying little DIY things to see if I can diagnose it I have someone who will clean my DI injectors tomorrow and see if that helps!!!

Also if you don’t mind take a look at this video does this sound like a failed HPFP?

Maybe if your engine is doomed you could be the first to install a Dark Horse engine which includes heads? But I do hope you can save your engine.

Hahaha maybe I think if the engine is gone I’ll go back to Mercedes as my race/daily never had these kinda problems!

Since the most likely cause is your tune, I would find a great reputable tuner and start from their. Now, since you do not have your original tune, I thought I heard this could be an issue plus, to switch back to stock tune you would need stock tune or take ECU to ford to have them reprogram to its original factory tune. I would definitely ask your tuner these questions. Good luck

Have the engine oil anaylized for foreign matter / bearing material.
Not worth the time, just do a visual. I sent in a sample, knowing full well some of my bearings were letting go, tons of oil sparkles, and they told me engine oil looked fantastic.

I am not the only person who had this issue. I was told by the company that they only check for really fine particles. If I can see it, it's too big for them to detect. But surely if I can see it, they can too.

Was it the "B' company? Because they certainly found coolant in my antifreeze when my headgasket failed.
You would think that if there were visible particles that there would be microscopic ones as well...

Yes.

However, you know what, I was partially wrong. Their detection of other liquids in the oil would actually be helpful, so maybe I am partially wrong.

But yes, a normal distribution curve would imply if there are large particles, there are also small particles.

Why list "exhaust" and e85 as the only thing done to it when it's been tuned. Tuning brings more issues than any and everything else combined.

Doesn't e85 alone mean it's tuned? I mean I don't think these cars will run on e85 without a tune.
I agree with the sentiment that he seems to be downplaying what's been done to the car though.

Personally, see if you can find a local tuner with a Dyno. I had my car tuned by a couple different places and I got tired of sending data logs and re-tuning the car over and over to get it right. I took it to a local performance shop and let them run it on the dyno until they got it right. Been running GREAT with no issue for over two years on that tune.

I saw E85 and headers and stopped reading. All I'll say is my Gen 3 is running like a top with 93, the OEM tune and stock headers. Lmao
