Just observations - its up to you to form an opinion / make a decision on each :

Tyre size has been mentioned, but I think that is also a budget brand so they are likely giving up performance / handling even compared to the non HP Michelin's.

I think the silencers are standard (other M1 owners can comment on the tip design), but for them to sit like that its defo been cut / messed with. I suspect its had a resonator delete which isn't necessarily a bad thing, but the fitment is questionable / needs adjustment.

Just a question - Should the rear spoiler be the same colour as the mirrors ? (I'm not totally sure on this).

Just bear the previous owners choices in both component quality and fitment in mind when viewing the rest of the car and its history etc :like:

I do think Machs look good in the red / white / black colour scheme :like:

You can definitely tell it's been lowered. Hang onto those stock springs in case you get some rubbing when you install proper tire sizes.

Exhaust tips look stock (were the same for both HP and non-HP Machs) but definitely some poor attention to detail with lining up the tips after a resonator delete. They do tend to hang a little lower than it looks like they should, even after they are straightened, so don't be alarmed if you run into that situation. Also be sure that the active exhaust wires aren't pinched between the exhaust and the pinch weld in the rear bumper area, you'll know what I'm talking about if you get under there and look at it.

@WD Pro is correct, rear spoiler on HP cars was painted magnetic to match the mirror caps. This spoiler is obviously a clone that was added to make the car look like an HP car.

And yes OP, the transmission is definitely different from the stock GT manuals, it would have been surprising if you hadn't noticed an improvement. It was one of the main reasons I traded in the 2018 GT on the Mach.

+1

I didn't hate the M82-D4 in my PP2, but I LOVE the TREMEC in my Mach. Clutch feel as well.

The manual IS the reason. Go drive an 10 for 3 days. You'll want to drive it off a cliff to spare you further torment.
Matt, I used to really not like this A10 but after 2.5 years Its growing on me. The thing is you have to know how to drive it as it is very sensitive. Using the paddles is the way to go. People that say this Auto isn't engaging are completely wrong.

Ignoring the fact that I break out in hives and wretch every time I drive an auto. /Jk

Op also noticed the jerkiness in his test drive and crossed it off his list. Ford's f150 team knows how to do a decent trans tune. Mustang team doesn't.

Tell me more about the resonator delete. How can you tell by looking at the tips? Do they have to take them off or something? When I drove the car the active exhaust modes seems to work correctly...where do I look to see if it's been deleted?

I appreciate all the comments. I'm now realizing this car has been more modified than I thought which I have mixed feeling about. Is lowering it a bad thing? Also do people tune the Mach 1's? If that was done to this car it would be a deal breaker.

I was shocked by how jerky the shifting was in sport mode. With 10 speeds it was not enjoyable. My 2015 gt is nothing like that. Is that common for the 10 speed?

From Ford, the exhaust tips, the relationship between both sides and them all being parallel to the ground is fixed as its one complete single piece system.

Once you break that system up (by doing a resonator delete) it becomes three pieces, with each side / set of tailpipes having no fixed relationship and being able to move independently of each other.

With sloppy fitment OR poor clamps OR incorrect clamp torque OR a combination of any of those, the weight of the silencers can cause the system to rotate giving the tailpipe sag you can see in your photo.

The wiring damage problem (sometimes from Ford / sometimes aggravated by poor resonator delete fitment) occurs on the right side of the car, just above the tailpipes, where the active exhaust valve wiring runs close to the frame.

It's this area :

But it may be harder to see on a Mach due to the tailpipe and valence design etc :like:

I have a resonator delete on my current car. But I dont understand how that effects tip alighnment. Are the tips removed or are you saying the mufflers just get tilted or rotate? Also does any of this affect warranty?

Maybe when a bunch of different drivers are taking in out on a test(beat) run.

The OE mufflers are heavy and as they don't hang in a balanced state, they will rotate if given the chance.

The tips are fixed to the muffler and non adjustable i.e. if the mufflers rotate, so do the tips.

I'm UK based so can't really comment on your warranty, but in my opinion, it should only impact your warranty on parts directly affected by the aftermarket modifications.

Springs and resonator delete are minor, don’t worry about those. Unless, like I said, you begin to get front tire rub once you install correct sized tires.

Yes, we do tune them, but the safest way to tell if it has been tuned is to ask the dealership to check for you. You can also use the droopy tips and lowering springs as bargaining chips, potentially to get a few bucks off the price if you mention that you are a little hesitant, because the car has obviously been modified.

Hey bud. No need to be condescending. I didn't fully understand what he was trying to describe. 👍🏻
