Is there a plug missing inside where air filter goes? If there is could that affect the car and or throw a code? I attached pictures.

I can’t tell from the photo. Is the hole on the filtered side? Or the unfiltered side?

I wouldn’t worry too much given the location. That said, I’d probably find a plug for it at some point.

If it is below the filter then its a water draining hole. If it's above the filter you've got a problem.

It's definitely below filter, I removed to change it and that's when I noticed it. Thanks for help. I ordered a code reader cause this car has been given me so many problems and threw a check engine on last night.

Sorry you're having issues. These genuinely are fantastic cars. I'm sure whatever code you find the forum will help you figure the best way to fix it:like:

That means your catalytic converter on bank to is not filtering the air like it should. Its either the converter itself or one of the O2 sensors has gone bad. Check your sensors first and if they are functioning properly then you'll have to replace your converter.

Thank you!!! Appreciate your help! It was rough idling day before. The car has had replaced solenoids, cam phasers, spark plugs, and I barely got to 40k miles this week.

Yikes! Your car should still be under the powertrain warranty. Since you've had all those parts replaced already the converter going bad is more than likely a problem caused by that. I would take it to a dealership and have them look at it. But at some point it may be worth to ask for a new engine. Especially all the problems you've had this early in its life.
