Hello everyone! My name is Bryan and I am from Puyallup, WA and I picked up a 2015 Black GT about a week ago. The second I saw the new Mustang I knew I needed to have one and it took a year or so but I finally joined the club! My last car was a 2009 Mazdaspeed3 which had a 2.3 turbo DISI engine somewhat similar to the new ecoboost so hopefully I can spread some long term knowledge as I go.

Here she is at Paradise Park on Mt. Rainier!

Just pulled the trigger

I've been lurking for a while, gathering info from this terrific resource. You guys rock! Stopped by my favorite Ford dealership this morning to see what they'd offer me for my trade-in, a '14 Explorer XLT, loaded, in showroom condition (well, except for that little mishap in the snow in '14). The sales manager took a look, drove it, and offered me a bit more than I expected. Well crap. Then that sneaky bastard offered to find the GT Premium convertible I was fantasizing over. Sure enough, he found one. It had a bit more extras than I wanted, but my trade in will more than cover the extra $. He sharpened his pencil, worked the numbers, and came up with a deal that I couldn't refuse. So, I gave him a deposit and the car should show up next week (it's coming from another dealer a few states away). No pics yet, obviously, but it will be:

'15 GT Prem Vert, Oxford White, Saddle int., auto, nav, reverse sensing, 401a, 19" wheels, and a spare in the trunk. I wanted a Trunk Monkey but he said that PETA frowned on those. Maybe I can find one used on Craig's list.

I retired a few months ago and promised myself a retirement present. Saw the 6th gen Mustangs at the car shows last winter in DC and Balt, and since then I've been building them on the website pretty much every day since then. This time next week there should be one in my garage, and I hope I'll be able to sleep until that happens. Thanks in advance for all the great info you guys put forth!

Hello from Northern Illinois. I'm in the Saint Charles area. I've owned a few Mustangs, starting with a new Red 1969 Sportroof. After that car I had a long dry spell till I bought an 03 GT convertible and a Mach1 in 04. Then jump ahead to 13 and I bought a Coyote convertible.
Last month I picked up a black 15 convertible, and it's definitely the best one yet.

Hi lm Mike, not over the pond but down under in Adelaide Australia. Looking to get a mustang too but can't believe it's going to be a year wait, surely that has to change. Lucky I have my 70s Aussie muscle to keep me happy till then. Rock on

Hello everyone!!!! My name is Sergio, from Bilbao (Spain). I am a bit crazy with cars hehe, the freak of my family...

I own a 2003 RX-8 Cup for track racing and a 1979 RX-7 for historic rally. As a daily car (and to go to the circuits with the RX-8) I have a BMW E61.

I allways loved muscle cars, of course the Mustang! In Spain this is the first gen available, son I am very very interested in changing my boring BMW for a V8 Fastback. But first I have to solve my "problem" to find a vehicle to carry the RX-8 to the tracks...

Two weeks ago I went to the dealer where they have the V8 to drive it. I have to say that the quality is not as BMW, but is better than I was expected to be, well done Ford!

The car is AWESOME in person, much better than in pics or videos. The trunk is very spacious for a car like this, similar to the ///M3E92. The rear seats are a bit small, I touch the roof with my head, but no problem, my kids are 7 and 10 years old hehehe a lot of time till the grow.

I take the car for a ride around... and it feels very good. I haven't had the opportunity to go to a mountain road so I can't say anything about handling.

Brakes are good and the first bite is very good, it seems like there is a pre-charge on the brake system.

I went to the highway to do some 80-200kph (no more because the man from the dealer looked a bit scared...) and it takes "no time" to do it, is very very fast!!!!!

I don't know which colour I will order, very difficult to decide.

I hope in 2 or 3 month I will be ready to order my first Mustang!!!!!!

Same family of cars. Max's car was an xb gt falcon around 1974 build. This is the XC which is the next model face lift and had different front gaurds, grill and interior as the major changes.

Old Fart, welcome. You're right this is a really awesome site. I have two more years until retirement I got mine in November of last year. It's not a convertible but it is a Mustang GT and I love it. My rims and tires get here on Tuesday I can't wait to lower it and install. This is my third Mustang. Enjoy the car.

Hi guys,

Always loved the Mustang ever since I saw Gone in 60 Seconds and here's a fun fact, that hobo looking dude Magnus Walker aka Porsche Hunter who was on Jay Leno's Garage rented out his place/warehouse to film some portions of the movie.

Anyway, always loved the Mustang and one memory that has stayed with me for a long, long time was when I saw this Fox Body merging not he highway/freeway and he just hauled ASS! Was crazy to see how they just take off.

I am close to getting my first Mustang. Hopefully the financing is good and I can decide on which trim I want. Waiting for my membership to gain posting access to ask more appropriate questions to help me decide but that's it so far.

Picked up my 2015 Guard Green Mustang GT with the performance package yesterday and couldn't be happier. I had a 1997 Mustang convertible before but this new one is amazing.

Hi everyone! It's been about 3-4 weeks since I got my Ruby Red GT Premium. I thought I would finally make an account instead of lurking. My previous car was a 2010 Volkswagen Jetta, which I still drive occasionally. I don't have any serious mods planned so far. This is a picture I took a few days after I got her!
