I'm in Middlesex county but I travel all over. If you go to car meets or Englishtown you will probably see me around.

Thanks, I work out of NJ. I haven't driven one yet sadly, but I will likely be the one test driving all the different ones in the beginning including the Limited Edition when it comes in. :D
South River Here, my uncle worked at the ford plant in Edison for many years. Ordered a DIB GT Premium.

Hello from Mexico City

Hello Everyone,

I've joined several days before but had never written so far until now. I've been reading all through the site, getting all the latest updates for the new Mustang.

I'm from Mexico City. From my grandfather, my father and now, myself, the Mustang were and are present in our lives. I love classics. I love the first one. My father still owns an original one owner - unrestored 65 Mustang WW hardtop.

As I said, I love old cars, but the Mustang is my favorite. I restored a 1966 Mustang hardtop to its original condition. I sold it. I also restored a 1965 VW Beetle by the way, but probably that will need to be posted on another forum, haha.

I have another car as my daily driver. I was looking for a first generation (1965-1973) Mustang Fastback or Convertible to restore it. I never thought to purchase a new car unless a very special edition for the 50th anniversary will come... One day I was through the web and suddenly I read an article about the 2015 Mustang exclusive limited edition and that will come in exactly the same color as my dad's car: Wimbledon White.... so, on that moment, I say to myself: this is gonna be! I don't care if I have to sell some stuff, sell the Beetle, or eat less, haha....but will definitely buy that car...

So, that's why I'm here... specially waiting as all of you, for the delivery date.

Hi everyone, let me introduce myself. My name is Edson. I am from McAllen, TX. I am 22 at the moment studying for my Bachelors in Computer Information Systems and Business Administration. I currently own a 2010 Ford Focus S that I bought new but I feel that it's time for a car with a little more punch.

I have been a Mustang fanatic since I was a small child when the SN-95's were roaming the streets.

Looking forward to some great discussions here with everyone at Mustang6G.com!

Newbie!

Hello!

My name is Taylor, I'm 21, and I am obsessed with mustangs! I got my first mustang when I was 16 and I still drive it every day. It is a black 2005 GT Vert with 65,000 miles and she is my baby. I grew up working in my dad's body shop and that is where I developed my love for mustangs and ford trucks. :ford: I really wanted an '11-'14 model for the coyote, but I was in college and money was tight. Now that I make a decent salary, I decided its time to purchase my new favorite car! I love the s550 platform and I can't wait to own the 50th anniversary model year of this amazing automotive legacy! I recently ordered a 2015 5.0 vert in guard to add to my stable...so excited! Here are some pics of my current ride...

I realize I never introduced myself. I'm Dave. Been a huge fan of Mustangs since I got my one and only a Fox Body 93 GT back in HS. Here it was in the late 90s:

I regret selling the car to this day but would like to own a Fox again someday. Have followed the car in each generation since and look forward to checking out lots of S550s as soon as they hit the road in September. I haven't been this excited since the 2005 S197 debuted.
Hi Everyone,

I just joined today but have been on the site reading through the forums and getting all the latest updates on the upcoming Mustang for a while now. This seems like the perfect place for the 6th generation Mustang which I'm very interested in. Currently I drive a 2011 Mitsubishi Lancer GTS and have always had a love for the Mustang. Ford always holds a place in my heart as my first car was a 92 Ford Tempo which I loved. Sadly over the years I never got the chance to own a Mustang but I'll be in the market for a new car in the next year or so and I'm seriously considering an Ecoboost model with automatic and performance package.

I'm hoping that someone comes out with a shifter for the automatic that lets you change gears using the shifter itself instead of the paddles. I know it may sound weird but I've got paddles on my current car and hate it, I've also tried them on a 2013 Charger Daytona edition and can't seem to get used to using them. I always go back to the shifter itself and have a blast with it.

Anyways, like I said I'm glad to be here and can't to learn more about the new Mustang and hopefully own one some day!
My name is Phil and I'm from NJ. I have lurked on this site for quite a while and actually work for Ford. I was impressed by all of the information that this site has. If any one has any questions I would be glad to help out. I think the 6th gen has endless possibilities and is going to surprise everyone especially when it comes to aftermarket potential. This car is one of those situations where numbers alone don't tell the whole story. I also build and race my cars in the spare time.
Hi everyone. Sean from Phoenix, AZ. Love my Boss 302 and was looking forward to the S550 until the videos of the '16 SVT hit the net. I guess I can bite my tongue another year.

I'm really looking forward to seeing all the new 'Stangs on the streets!
Hello everyone!

Jason here from the SF bay area. I have been reading this forum for some time and I have finally decided to join. I have owned several mustangs in my time and I am still a young guy! lol

Some of the mustangs I have owned over the years have been a 1966 Mustang with a 302, 1967 Fastback, 1967 Tubbed Coupe (mid 10s 1/4 mile) and a 2007 GT Mustang. I will be getting back saddle again and ordering a 2015 GT Mustang this coming week.

I am really excited to contribute and be part of this amazing community here!
Hello to everyone from Canada.

Originally from Germany, I arrived 2005 in Canada and was in 02/2012 shopping for a convertible. ;-) First checking out a Audi A4 what was advertised as in "showroom" condition at a Outlet car dealer. The Audi looked horrible! Already disappointed because I drove 45 minutes to checkout this car, I saw a convertible S197 V6 in the showroom and thought it was a brand new Mustang. Absolutely clean. So I asked the milage on that car and we figured out it had only 31,000 km /19,xxx miles on it! I bought her for $16,500 including a 4 year warranty. She is white and a base model. Later I bought white leather seat covers with black faces to match the white/black style. Got a set of 17" 100 spoke wheels for her six month later. Btw. There is still the sticker from the factory on the engine. 25. FEB 2005. :-)

So I am looking to get the S550 as a DD . V6 or a EcoBoost? No idea yet. But I need a automatic transmission because I had a work related accident in January and my left hand/arm won't work like they should anymore. But the S550 without leather? (V6!) No way!

I am glad to get all your wonderful knowledge as a "shopping guide" here. Because the dealers around Edmonton / Alberta have no details about anything what doesn't makes it easy for me. Thanks a lot guys.
Found this forum by searching for info on the 2015 Ford Mustang. After work today, I intend to put a deposit down on a Mustang GT. I desire a stripped down version because I'll likely purchase aftermarket parts to better suite my desires when they come available.

I've never had the opportunity to play with a new or newer car and am pretty excited. Current projects are:

1996 Ford Mustang
2.5 (Lima based) 4 cylinder with a Volvo B234F cylinder head
TKO-500
Previous combo ran a best of 12.10 @ 114 mph. Expect this combo to pick up ~100 - 150 hp over the previous combo. It's possible/likely this car will be sold when I buy the new Mustang, though.

Have a good day!

Ordered 2015 GT basic DIB, Recaros, Performance package. Bare bones, hard driving track car/ East TN corner carver. Owned an 88 GT with a bunch of mods, SVT Focus, etc. Sold a Factory Five Cobra Daytona Coupe that I built to purchase the 2015 GT.

Hello Tricia.

I would like to have an update. But here in Edmonton Alberta, I can't find one dealer who knows how to preorder a Mustang. I did visit Kenwood Ford, Ford Andrews and Waterloo Ford. Nothing. I showed them the order list I did get from here including the prices. They got nothing. I did get at Andrews the 4 page booklet. That's it! :-(

Thanks Tricia,

I've seen you're from Ford, and I would like to know if you are aware of the Mustangs that would be selling outside US...as you know I'm from Mexico City.

My specific question is, if you know about the LEs that Ford Motor Company has allocated to Mexico within all the country.... I know for some dealers here that our country would be receiving just 50 LEs units....I just want to know if you know something about it...and this brings me to another question...when does these "Mexican" LEs will come? will be arriving just at the same time than in US? or will be arriving afterwards?

Thank you

Hi everyone,
I'm new to the forum (but I've learned a lot! Thanks guys!) and will be ordering a 2015 sometime in the near future. I'm looking forward to it - I've never owned one, though I've driven a 2014 V6, which was my gateway drug to this car. I've never owned a performance car at all, in fact - in graduate school, it simply wasn't an option, but now I'm employed, so...
