Hello everybody... Checking in from South Florida.

Just got out of a soul sucking suv that got terrible mileage and had some very sketchy interior build quality. Picked up a 2016 Ecoboost last Thursday and driving around this weekend was nothing short of spectacular. So far the honeymoon period is going great.

Good afternoon everyone! My name is Andy and I'm now a proud owner of a 2017 Ford Mustang GT! Couldn't be more excited. I've been a BMW guy since I can remember, so I'm shifting allegiances somewhat. But I'm really proud of this car. Been looking for one for a long time. Surprising how good the 18s look in person, was really wanting the 19s or 20s but I think I'll be good with this for now.

Look forward to chatting with everyone and am very honored to be in the club now.

Probably keeping it bone-stock for now. Impressed with the stock exhaust. Power is overwhelming. Smooth ride though.

Hi folks,

No mustang yet but I have been cruising all the different mustang forums and have found this one to be the best as far as knowledge.

Currently looking for a black premium GT with manual transmission.

As I am a bit older now, (55) I am looking for more of a "gentlemens GT" with a bit of luxury. Not going to track or race as my car as I have done that on motorcycles and that is still my business. Got the need for speed and big thrills out of my system with the bikes!

May wait to factory order exactly what I want when I see what the '18 have to offer. Hopefully a bit more power and some improvements to the current manual tranny.

Until then I'll be lurking and gathering more info.

Hey everyone, my name is Jeremy, I live in DFW Texas and I recently purchased an Oxford White 2016 Mustang GT Premium with the black appearance package! It's my first Mustang and i absolutely love it!

All i have done so far is a JLT intake and a Livernois Tune for 93 octane!

Plans for the near future is the Ford Performance by Borla exhaust with the GT350 Rear Valance, Short Shifter with the transmission brace and hard mount, GT350 IM and TB, and a couple other things... Eventually want to go Twin Turbo but waiting till atleast 10,000 miles for that!

Look forward to meeting more of you and enjoying my Mustang!

Hello Everyone!!

Found this forum while I was searching for mods for my ordered 2017 GT w/PP. I'm getting it from Lebanon Ford and will have the Roush Stage I installed upon it's delivery (11/13!)

I've always been a GM guy, this is new territory for me but I just couldn't pass up on these new Mustangs, the look is killer.

Hello all. First time Mustang owner here in TX and I love my car. One overarching first comment and a question. Comment: as I said I love my car but I wish Ford had provided more custom options...I would have done the PP with automatic but kept the stock seats over the Recaros. Question: what is the driveline vibration issue a few discuss here? My car feels what I would say is a powerful sensation at highway speeds, but I guess it could be a vibration. It doesn't bother me though. I am glad I found the forum and hope to hit a few car shows in central Texas to see others Mustangs as mine will stay stock except for adding the strut tower brace.

Don't have a 6g yet, but it's in the works. I never thought I'd lust after a mustang, let alone own one, but this gen is wicked! Ford should thank MotorTrend, if it weren't for the mustang being 2nd "Best Driver's Car" behind a freakin McLaren, I wouldn't even be thinking about it.
But alas, here I am... looking forward to the nights of ramen noodles or PBJ's while searching through build threads, with a GT in my garage

Keith here from Cincinnati area. Got a 2017 Premium GT in platinum white (don't see many of that color around). It's received the Lebanon Performance Ford 727 package with Roush exhaust and DSS 800hp driveshafts. Wrapped the mirrors and roof in satin black and changed to AMR wheels. Had a new 2005 Mustang GT and it felt slow compared to this. This car is amazing.

Hi All,

My name is Jae. First time Mustang owner. Very happy Mustang owner, I might add :)
I got myself a 2016 Mustang GT Premium in Ingot Silver paint with Black Out and Black Top on a very favorable sale at a local dealer a little more than a week ago. Only other option on it is Recaro seats. And my sample is manual transmission version. I plan to add strut tower brace and Power Pack 2 down the line.
Edit: I forgot that it also has 3.55 axle ratio.

This is my daily driver.

It's been a hoot driving it so far. Lots of grins.

My other ride is 2007 Aprilia Tuono 1000R Factory.

Hello everybody!

I've owned a 1994 Mustang GT convertible for about twelve years. I moved from PA to NC due to a job relocation about two years ago. During this time, the 94 Mustang was being overhauled and is still up there currently. It has a 351w stroked to a 408w, AFR heads, custom camshaft, ported/polished Edelbrock performer intake, and a 74mm turbo. It has been converted from an AODE that kept blowing up when the car was on spray to a T-5. AC system and smog have been removed.

And last night I picked up a yellow 2015 GT Premium with a 6spd manual. 50th anniversary, shaker, 3.73's, 7000 miles, etc..

(I didn't park it, this is when the salesman drove it up from the service area.)

Hello Mustang fans

Hi Everyone,

My name is Mike and I'm a NEW Mustang addict. I've had this problem since June and I couldn't be happier. I've searched several of the Mustang forums, and enjoy this one the best. Great job everyone for contributing. I'm out here on the west coast so I get to drive my beast in the making (it's a girl by the way) all year and she's a beauty ( my personal biased opinion): unfortunately I can't figure out how to post a picture from my iPad. I want to improve the performance without getting divorced for spending too much money at once.

Currently, I've tinted the Windows 18% ceramic tint, installed Ford Racing Street Springs, Roush Quicksilver wheels, MT 305/35/20 rears, 275/35/20 fronts, Ford Racing X-pipe (so long resonator), and a Roush white shift knob.

My intentions are to supercharge her in the Spring of 2017. I will upgrade to a 3" exhaust then. If the Dyno numbers look good with the ford performance pack 3, I may go that route with long tube headers and 2.5" exhaust.

Next upgrades will be the shifter (Barton hybrid 3), and a rear spoiler.

I would like to thank everyone for all your replies to the topics. Great reading and very informative. Awesome!!

I think I was able to attach a picture of the beast. Enjoy.
