congrats! looks great!, ceramic tint? are you talking about the body or the windows?
For the windows. Looking at 390 for all of them. Had a friend who swears by ceramic tint and some Googling to seems to indicate it's worth it. Trying to figure out how dark I wanna go though.

congrats! love the color... i am also trying to decide between corsa or borla exhaust.. let me know what you decide....also... how do you like the steeda clutch spring? does it make the clutch heavier (i like the light clutch) or just give it a better engagement point feel?
Thanks! It was the only race red PP in my area. I know some people say the spring makes the clutch feel heavier, but I really could not tell much of a difference when driving. You get used to it quickly. I definitely gained a better engagement point feel.

Here is my car. Ive been working on it off and on since Feb. I live in a smaller rural city where mostly people fix up trucks so its nice to have something different not to mention its a hell of a lot funner to drive than a truck. Here are some of the things Ive done so far.
2.9 stage 2 Whipple
Ford Performance Track Handling Pack
19" 6G wheels with 285 and 320 Cooper RS3S tires
BMR diff and irs frame lockouts
Ford Performance short throw shifter
Steeda K Brace
A few other odds and ends
Im thinking a radar detector may be my next investment

I
I have not done any research yet. I believe there is information on this site.
I know nothing about them at this point. Ive never owned one. I do know with the lazers that they are hard to detect.
I have a CDL license which I need to keep. If I cant avoid getting a ticket I figured maybe a radar detector would at least help me get the car slowed down some.
Anyone have suggestions or advice on detector models currently out there?

LOVE those 6G 19" Wheels! really looks great with the black. I live in Wisconsin and I feel the same way about the Truck and SUV crowd...The Mustang is more fun to drive

I like they way it looks with the 19's and the GT350 "Ford" center caps. It looks almost factory. Tires are less money too with the 19's instead of 20's. I'm liking the Cooper RS3S tires that I put on. They work well. I feel that it grips better than the P Zero's but there is also more rubber on the road. 285 front 320 rear. 710.00 for a set from a local tire shop here.

New here. Been doing tons of research.... awesome forum. Thanks for all the valuable info. Just purchased a 2015 Mustang GT Premium two weeks ago.... murdered out. Last 5.0 I owned was 1995. Started with small mods on my 15.... light kits, hood struts, coolant tank, oil separator and such. Just received my sprint booster, cai, x-pipe and GT350 mani. Ordered nGauge and Tune from Lund. Can't wait to get everything bolted up and programmed. Next step will be headers and pipes.

Look forward to being apart of the Mustang community again.

Nice man. Whipple is my goal one of these days. Whipple told me I didn't need to make any upgrades to my coyote in preparation for their sc. Was this true for you? I would have thought new cams, pistons and connecting rods would have been required. Do you have to keep a lower rpm peak to keep the boost down?

Thanks!

Whipple has done a ton of testing on the coyote engine. With forged rods and crank along with quality pistons she will stay together. You will need to run high octane quality fuel as detonation could be problem if you dont. I would recomend the stage 2 kit and use the whipple tune. It has safeguards built in but still allows for amazing hp! It is totally driveable for daily driving. It builds boost in the mid to upper rpms and is controlled by your right foot. The power comes on hard and fast. I would leave traction control on till you get used to it as it will melt your tires!
The whipple tune also allows you to limit power percentage per gear.

Thanks mx862. So would I need to do the rods, crank and pistons if I stay with the Whipple tune? Whipple is telling me no engine upgrades "required" with their "kit and factory style calibration"... their words to be exact. I have 91 octane in my area, would that be safe with the stage 2?

Thanks for your help!

Sorry. What I meant was that the Coyote already has forged rods, crank and good pistons so you are good there. 91 octane is the minimum running the sc. Some on this site say when you go forced induction you should upgrade your oil pump gear, crank sproket and balancer due to possible breakage.Whipple claims it is not nessesary. If I would have known about that at the time I installed mine I think I would have went ahead and installed it for the added insurance.
At some point soon I will tear back into it and do the install. Uggg!
If you do decide to go FI you wont regret getting the Whipple. Honestly as to getting a tuner and a CAI that you were talking about I went down that road in the begining too. Save your money. You wont notice much difference over stock.

Oh, OK. I wasn't aware it already had forged goods. I read somewhere a guy broke his opg with Whipple sc, so I think I'll upgrade the opg before going sc as well. Seems like the safe way to go. I am completly sold on Whipple. Can't wait! Wish they had financing. :amen:

I kind of figured I wouldn't see much gain with the cai and x-pipe, but from what I gather the Lund tune will give us a better "running" Mustang. Plus I'll be doing the GT350 mani next month, that will have to do for now until I get some more play money.
