Hi
Signed up on Friday.

I've got a 2016 Premium PP in Magnetic. So far it's got Ford Racing Touring exhaust, K & N, Steeda clutch spring, GT350, RPI Designs painted hood louvers & blacked out emblems.

Next up is the Steeda K-brace & rear cradle braces.

Thanks, I had a really good deal on a ruby red premium I passed up to get DIB. Almost ordered the Lightning blue 2017 until I saw the color in person.
I hear that more and more regarding the Lighting blue... it's ok, a bit washed out. When you compare it with the DIB blue almost everyone picks the darker/deeper color. So what was your biggest determining factor in picking the DIB over Ruby Red? ---I personally really like the Ruby Red as a color it is beautiful, but almost "too pretty" for a mustang...someone on the forum told me to go with the color you are drawn to.. and I am drawn to the DIB more and more....

I actually picked the lightning blue over the DIB. Originally was all set for DIB, but next to the LB, to me the LB is lighter and brighter. IMHO the blue is a truer blue, where the DIB has some purple in it. Guess that's why they make these in different colors, LOL!

Bought a 2016 GT(Magnetic/Black) on July 31st. It's my 5th Mustang. Had a Zinc Yellow 2001, Tungsten Gray 2007, Black 2012, and a DIB 2015 before this. All GT and manual.

I took the DIB for a couple reasons. My 2006 mustang was Red Fire. And I'm pretty sure my fiancé would have killed me if I got another red car. She hated my 06 because of the color alone. Lol

Just a quick Hi,names Jim from central Mn and I'm a Stangaholic(new word),mid 50's with lots of hobbies and Ponies are one of them.
I own 3 right now.
Black 95 Gt with lots of mods.
Red 98 V6 with very little mods,
Race Red 2016 V6. The reason I went with the 3.7 is that I have my 95 GT witch is modded and I wanted something newer just to drive around and the V6 has a bit better ride being the suspension is a bit softer then the GT. The only mods I'm doing to the 3.7 are air filter no CAI just filter, waiting on Gibson cat back exhaust right now and I'm looking into 3.55 gears and maybe a bigger TB with a F4 tune.
Now I'll start surfing the forums.

Thanks for the reply.... I hear you about the colors. Everyone's tastes and view are a bit different. I guess I should not pass any judgement on the Lightning Blue as I have not actually seen it in person on a dealer lot for myself. Just pictures and input from others.. I have seen many people on the forum that have ordered the lightning blue and been very happy with it and didn't like DIB because of the purple hue....That is the beauty of this vehicle it really looks great in any color..... I normally don't like orange and I find myself at times being drawn to the 2016 competition orange... Saw a post for a CO in the California Special Package and it looked fantastic!

Can I ask what dealership you purchased your mustang at? I am looking outside of my area in Wisconsin and willing to travel for the right deal.....

I actually traveled 2 hours to get my car as well. I got it in Northern Iowa. Victory Ford in Dyersville, IA.

If your from a smaller town, if you travel to a bigger city they are usually more willing to sell at invoice price, due to more business.
I would check to see if you have any True car dealers near you. Truecar.com usually helps you find the best price. And gives you a really good price to start negotiations with dealers closer to you.

Awesome, thanks... I did look into the True Car program in WI... there were 3 dealerships.., but did not find a mustang on their lot that I was interested in. Don't know if they would give me the same price deal if I had them find a car for me (?). I thought about custom ordering as well, but they seem more willing to deal with inventory on their lot... at least that is the perception I get...

Another reason to buy remotely is big or small town, they know they need to close a deal first shot because they know their competition isn't just a few nearby dealers but entire geographical regions and you aren't going to be making multiple contacts to get that best deal.

Buying remotely works best for custom orders or very recent deliveries because then there is less concern about how the vehicle has been treated while on the lot. Remote buying loses its appeal when you fly somewhere and it doesn't run right or has had obvious body repairs that they did not have to legally declare.

I just bought a 2016 GT Premium last week. Black on black, every option (I believe) except the 3:55, which I really wanted. Stock for now, but adding a Roush exhaust this week. Very fun car. In the past I've owned a 94' SN95, and a 1973 Mach 1 project car with a 351c 4bbl.

Hey everyone! My name's Brian and I'm going to be receiving my new 2017 Mustang GT Premium next Friday. This is my second car, and first new car. My first car was a 2004 V6 with the 40th anniversary package. I'm gonna miss it like crazy, but have had to do major repairs every few months. Figured I could use a car with a warranty, and decided to get the one I truly wanted (almost bought an EcoBoost). It's black and has the 18" black foundry wheels. I chose auto because while I love stick I didn't want it for daily driving, plus the new paddle shifters was something I really wanted.

I live on Long Island, I'm into photography, love Stangs, I'm currently in college and am majoring in accounting. Looking forward to being apart of the community here.

Here's my car
