Personally, I think you made the correct choice. :D
Thanks :headbang:. Either choice is a good one. I just love this new body style and the chassis is very appealing along with the much improved interior and quality of those components. Of course the motor is too:ford:

Would go for a GT500 if it had a grill ! That open hole there is fugly and causes too many issues ( ie birds gettig sucked in and destroying the radiator)

Best of luck with your new 2015!! I voted with the majority, I always feel best to have the newest generation especially with all the improvements in this one

The 14 GT500, even with all its power, is still an S197, and I really don't like S197s. Someone asked which would you envy if you had the other. If I had any sort of 14, I'd want a 15. If I had a 15, I'd never even look at the 14s.

I am one of those people who once they get into the 'latest' of something wants the latest. I hesitated before voting as the GT500 is simply awesome and looks pretty neat when you do see one (rare)...Also love the 13-14 rear LEDs ...But its just too hard to pick "yesterday's news" over a loaded 2015 GT. Obviously in this new body style I'd take the SVT over the GT, but who wouldn't. Nice problem to have though.

I am in sort of the same boat and also leaning towards the 15 (or waiting for the 16). Things will only get cheaper (and more reliable) afterall.

Anyway congrats on the order. You really can't go wrong either way.

Congrats on the order! Looks like you got all the goodies, so should be an awesome car for sure. I don't think you'll regret your decision one bit. Enjoy!

That's a really tough question, the power of the GT 500 is amazing. We recently had one on the dyno, that was equipped with a cold air kit, pulley change and a tune and it made 688 rwhp. But power isn't everything, I like to go around corners and I think the 2015 GT will out handle the 500. Also after 5 yrs. I still can't like the rear end treatment on the 01-14 cars.
