My Chevrolet dealer doesn't do ADM. Never has. The owner doesn't believe in it. My shot at a Z06 for MSRP is still pretty low tho. That list started before the 2020 base debut.

This is good for prospective buyers, but it’s easier to do with the Corvette because GM strives to produce as many as they can. Specialty Mustangs aren’t produced in those types of numbers. For example, even with all the issues they’ve encountered I think GM still has built well over 30,000 C8 Corvettes for 2020 and 2021.

It will never happen. GM and FCA are in the business of selling as many cars as they can produce. When it comes to Shelby's or specialty vehicles, Ford limits production.

Example: GM Produced 20,368 2020 C8 Corvettes, they had orders for 40,000 units before production began. But they ended up cancelling almost 50% of the orders due to the late production startup date. All these where produced between Feb and December 7, 2020.

Agree, this is the problem.

If you listen to the video closely, it's not exactly spelled out like the title leads you to believe. He said if their cars sit over the average length of time, GM my give allocations to another dealership that moves the car more quickly due to MSRP deals. Not exactly a ban by GM against charging ADM.

If Ford built as many GT500’s as they could then I definitely would not have purchased one. I like the the fact they are a limited build unlike the Corvette. Dealers should be able to get a premium price based on supply and demand for such vehicle.

I’ve been on my dealerships list since 2019 for a C8 Z06. At msrp. #6th. We shall see what happens late 2022.

Trust me, even the GM dealers have their favorite customers. The haves and the have nots still exist, only in a egalitarian society would everyone get a GT500 or Z06 :)
