This is good for prospective buyers, but it’s easier to do with the Corvette because GM strives to produce as many as they can. Specialty Mustangs aren’t produced in those types of numbers. For example, even with all the issues they’ve encountered I think GM still has built well over 30,000 C8 Corvettes for 2020 and 2021.
Yes unfortunately you’re rightIf Ford built as many GT500’s as they could then I definitely would not have purchased one. I like the the fact they are a limited build unlike the Corvette. Dealers should be able to get a premium price based on supply and demand for such vehicle.
I’ve been on my dealerships list since 2019 for a C8 Z06. At msrp. #6th. We shall see what happens late 2022.My Chevrolet dealer doesn't do ADM. Never has. The owner doesn't believe in it. My shot at a Z06 for MSRP is still pretty low tho. That list started before the 2020 base debut.

Ford need to do this as well as the other 2 do it now.
Trust me, even the GM dealers have their favorite customers. The haves and the have nots still exist, only in a egalitarian society would everyone get a GT500 or Z06If you have not seen this vid.
