I’m getting my entire manifold replaced next week. 2023 Mach 1. 12,000 miles. They don’t fix them-it’s all sealed inside is what the dealer told me.

No tune required. A tune will take advantage of the better manifold. Need an adapter for your throttle body. VMP makes a good one

18 up manifold requires a tune and if you use another 17 manifold this will break again. The 350 manifold uses steel rods so doesn't break.

Just lock them out and have your tuner turn them off in your tune (way cheaper than the GT350 IM), unless you‘re also wanting to upgrade to the GT350 IM.

When the rod breaks there is no way to lock them open. He has to change manifolds. I suppose you could take off the manifold and epoxy the flaps open.

I was thinking epoxying them open. I saw a pic of one like that somewhere online.

The car has to have a tune already. Has a VPM throttle plate, JLT intake, etc. But idk what it is. I bought it used.

What color is your manifold on the top? Is it silver or black?

I will take a couple pics tomorrow. I’m not super familiar with this particular car. I’m new to this body style. I have a base GT with a performance package. But I know a few things have been done. Especially since I saw the flow master mid pipe and a flow master exhaust when I first saw it. I’ll get a few pics tomorrow. You can let me know what I’m dealing with.
