2017 mustang gt convertible
But now, after every engine start, the car has the 'low oil pressure' light come on. I understand well, the pressure information is now used by the gauge and the ECU dummy 'switch' receive a pressure on null.

How can I disable this warning message ?

A possible solution : Turned off DTC P0522 (with HP Tuners) ? (Engine Oil Pressure Sensor/Switch Low Voltage)

Mustang 2016 GT non-pp
I was able to enable my oil pressure sensor instead of being of a simple switch on my 2016 Mustang GT non-pp to show up on my digital cluster (Did the swap a few months ago) and it's giving me the correct readings. This should also work on the center gauges. I have not done any re-wiring or changed my oil pressure sensor, I think I read here and other forums that models starting from 2016 and above have the correct oil sensor even for non-pp so no need to change that. Thanks all for the info which helped me and I found the pp tune file which where I found the reference voltage for the oil pressure sensor.
Extra thing I added a MIL light (check engine light) to the oil pressure Too Low instead of a warning just in case if that happens, but anyway I am always checking the oil pressure on my cluster and will notice when something like this happens.

What I have done are the following changes in VCM editor (HP Tuner) with the explanation:

1- EOP Switch: Enabled -> Disabled (Needed to disable the oil pressure warning on the cluster)
2- Oil Pressure Config: Switch -> Transducer (To enable the oil pressure sensor actual readings instead of a switch)
3- Oil Press. Min: 0.00V -> 0.25V
4- Oil Press. Max: 15.0V -> 4.75V (without changing the reference voltage it will be stuck at maximum reading)
5- Engine Oil Pressure Sensor/Switch Circuit Low: No Error Reported -> No MIL Light (just following PP tune file)
6- Engine Oil Pressure Sensor/Switch Circuit HIGH: No Error Reported -> No MIL Light (just following PP tune file)
7- Engine Oil Pressure Too Low: No Error Reported -> MIL Light (I added this as a pre-caution when oil pressure goes low since warning light is disabled, but as I said will notice the oil pressure going low as I am constantly checking/viewing it on my cluster)

Thanks for that information Yazen,
I think you may have helped me heaps, as I was going through senders (leaking)
They only seemed to start leaking after putting my foot down briefly.
May have been a voltage issue, will see how I go.

Do you have a 1 pin sensor? Is the oil gauge working correctly?

Have not checked it, didn’t need to as it’s working after these changes I did. I believe it’s a full 3 pin sensor otherwise will not get actual readings. As I also understood from other posts that all 2016 models (pp or non-pp) and above have the correct hardware (3 pins) but disabled for the non-pp vehicles.

As I also understood from other posts that all 2016 models (pp or non-pp) and above have the correct hardware (3 pins) but disabled for the non-pp vehicles.
Can you take a look, please? There is always a 1 pin sensor on premium.
3 pin started only in 2018.

Just got the chance to check it. 2016 GT Premium non-pp, it is also a 1-pin sensor couldn’t believe it, as always understood that 1-pin is only a switch not having ability to give variable voltage. This is officially saying no need to replace the sensor or re-wire any harnesses in order to enable actual oil pressure readings. All can be done by software tune.
I am confirming again the readings are actual and correct: hot oil readings are around ~20 psi and gets upto 70-75 psi when I do a pull. Cold readings I get higher numbers off course.

I can't understand. How is it possible? It shouldn't work.
Any chance some code is guestimating the pressure? I believe my SVT Focus oil pressure gauge worked that way.

Can someone measure the distance apart the outer vents are on the PP dash bezel? I'm trying to install the PP gauges in to a RHD Mustang and so I need to re-create the dash in CAD and then fabricate it myself. I had planned to buy one, import it to the UK, 3D scan it, and then mirror it, but the part is quite simple in geometry so I think I can just build it in CAD using measurements and a scan of my non PP RHD bezel.
Measurement of the diameter of the gauges and their distance apart would also be helpful as I'm waiting for my gauges to be delivered.
