Thanks for that info! Feels like I'm getting somewhere. I just checked cuz to be honest I never did checked before, it has the Oil low (at idle) blue line on that little screen, maybe indicating the oil is at normal pressure maybe? The engine has around 60% oil life left in it according to the status screen. But no digital dash in this base model. Can you go into the PID turn on? Is there a special software to do this, I just renewed Forscan but don't remember seeing anything like that, I just use it to change a few values every once in a while. I started to work on this issue with BAMA and they assured me that the oil gauge setting has been turned on, but still not working, they sent the tune to their technology department, hopefully they can fix the issue if is fixable. At this time I do not know if the actual gauge is good, but I don't have any reason to question the seller's word at this time.Does your base EB have the low/normal/high oil pressure readout in the center of the dash or do you have the digital dash with just oil idiot light.
If non digital dash and oil readout then you just need the PID turned on with tune. If digital dash then you will need three wire pressure sensor, wire pigtail and need to wire that onto the canbus for the oil pressure readout to work.
The digital dash models have just a single wire open/closed oil pressure switch to turn the idiot light on and it will only come on if there is no oil pressure with engine rpm above 400 so no key on engine off bulb check at all anymore.
You can look at the oil pressure switch next to oil filter and see if it has 1 wire or 3 wires in the connector also.
